“The hotel exceeded our expectations! Fantastic stay”
The hotel was fabulous, new - spotlessly clean, wonderful staff, the manager Benjamin went out of his way to make us feel welcome & to show us the hotel’s amenities. We arrived in the morning & parked at the hotel - we then descended down to the bottom of the Col de Cayolle & biked up this beautiful route to the top. We were delighted with our spacious room & enjoyed the beautiful lounge area next to the restaurant to relax with a glass of wine before supper. The food was great. We are already planning to return in the winter to explore some ski touring & snow shoe hiking from the hotel & will for sure stay longer on our next visit. We have stayed at several hotels in this area, Refuge Hotel de Bayasse is far & away the nicest.

“A hidden gem in the mountains”
Very welcoming The room was really cozy and clean. The traditional evening meal was very nice. Meeting the other guests also made or stay.

“Fabulous stay in the middle of nowhere!”
Fantastic stay in the middle of nowhere. Ideal for cyclists, walkers and "explorers ". 2 course meal offered with wine as well as a sumptuous breakfast. Rooms were large, comfy beds and a super bathroom complete with wet room shower. Loved it!
