Faré Mahi Mahi in Uturoa provides adults-only accommodation with an infinity pool and a garden. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Sandrine (the boss) and Laurent are great hosts and their house is perfect for a stay in Raiatea. The apartment is only a few minutes away by car from Uturoa and a Carrefour supermarket, as well as restaurants and spots to eat. Renting a car in advance is important as the house sits on a hill. The apartment is very clean and well kept, with a beautiful view and space outside to sit and enjoy it.

Sandrine and her husband are the perfect hosts. From the airport pickup, the welcome at the accommodation, the recommendations and the kind hospitality- everything was wonderful. The bed is extremely comfortable, the design is cute, the views are stunning and the pool is refreshing.

A truly amazing view of the island and motus in front, the sunrises were beautiful. Sandrine and Laurent are amazing hosts, we would have loved to have more time to enjoy the shared pool and simply the view a bit more. It is an unpaved road from the route to the house, but without luggage easily walkable (some 10 min down to the route) and the hosts take you to and from the port/airport, so you'd need a car only if you plan to move very frequently in and out of the accommodation

“Lie back and enjoy the view!”
This is a beautiful place just to relax and do nothing, like us, after a lot of travelling. The bungalow was artistically designed and decorated by the owner whose home is next door. The covered deck opens to the infinity pool where you can just watch the view of the ocean and islands all day long. The owners are very friendly and helpful, doing the airport transfers and stopping at shops for us. But we did not see them during the day.

Amazing view on the lagoon from the little bungalow. Sandrine and Laurent have been very welcoming and super helpful. Taking care of my electric bike and dropping/picking me up from a diner place in the evening.

“Excellent and will Hopefully Return”
It was an idyllic spot 100m or so high up with fantastic views towards Huahine - especially after a full day out and being in the pool looking over the water and motus. The owners were great and went above and beyond and provided fresh fruit from their garden

“Magical stay in Raiatea”
We absolutely loved our stay at Fare Mahi Mahi. The facilities in the fare are excellent: the kitchen well equipped; the bathroom modern; and, the bedding exceptionally comfortable. The view is probably the best feature with a very beautiful outlook towards Huahine and an unencumbered sunrise. Truly magical! It was very special having a pool to use after a long day exploring the island. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay on Raiatea was the best it could be. She collected us from the airport, organised all our tours and arranged our hire car. An absolutely amazing service that we couldn’t have done without. Very highly recommended!
