“Quiet, great river view, lovely hosts”

If you happen to be in this area, this is the place where you want to stay. You'll have a nice view of the river Nan and can go for a swim or hang out on the pontons. Comfy beds, rooms are not big but have everything that is needed, including mosquito screens at the windows. We've had delicious food prepared by Kek and lovely chats with Tony at the bar or during the meals. If we hadn't made up our plans already, we would have stayed longer, and I would have get my SUP ready for a river tour

“Wonderful”

Thanks to the owners, Mr. Tony and Mrs. Kak, we were able to spend a wonderful time in Uttaradit at the end of the year！ When we informed them in advance that we cannot eat spicy food, Mrs. Kak kindly prepared non-spicy dishes for our dinners. For an additional charge, Mrs. Kak kindly prepared breakfast dishes such as omelets, rice soup, and stir-fried green papaya with eggs. All of the meals were very delicious and well balanced nutritionally, which we really appreciated. When we were unsure about how to arrange a boat ride at Sirikit Dam, Mrs. Kak kindly helped us by making the arrangements for us. Thanks to her support, we were able to enjoy a wonderful boat tour, which became one of the highlights of our trip. The room was very clean, and the mattress had a comfortable firmness. In our room, there were both low and high pillows provided, and being able to choose a low pillow made our stay especially comfortable. The shower water pressure was slightly weak, but even during the cooler end-of-year season, there was plenty of hot water, so showering was still very comfortable. There was a friendly dog and cats at the homestay, which was incredibly soothing and made the stay even more enjoyable. Spending quiet, relaxing time by the Nan River while watching the beautiful sunset, together with the lovely dog and cat, was truly the highlight of our stay！

Lovely quiet location. We went to the wat and through the rice fields for an evening walk which was lovely. Bird sounds galore. We gave the hosts prior warning that one of us was vegetarian. Kak cooked a delicious three dish Thai dinner for us, while Tony regaled us with stories. We highly recommend this place.

Highlight of 4 weeks in Thailand for 3 Aussie kids. Swimming in the river beats any pool in Thailand according to them. Being able to fish and just live their best life along the river Nan. Dinner was next level. It’s basic but everything that is needed is there. Hosts are great for a yarn and the children are also given a cooking lesson (I’ll be sure to utilise them back home). Quite a bit from town but after traveling Thailand nothing crazy I am pretty sure the kids will be back when they are older - gap year dreams for one.

The breakfast was sufficient for us. The room, bathroom and bed were perfect for our taste. Everything was spotless clean. The host, Tony was excellent and it was a pleasure to talk to him. I learned so much about the area and was exactly what I hoped that a home experience would be.

EXCELLENT VALUE - TOP FRIENDLY We stayed previously and came back. Superb warm welcome, comfy room, hairdryer (my wife loves it), choice of pillows (I love it). Unbeatable value for money for a very clean air-conditioned room with hot water shower (or bathtub might you prefer) and breakfast. Dinner was delicious, cooked with attention by owner Kookkak. Her husband's Tony fun stories -but also the serious ones- kept us captivated. A really good homestay /guesthouse along the river. In the area you can watch the beautiful layers of green on the rice fields. And when you are done have some good drinks and listen to the great piped music at the guesthouse's bar. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Remote location and very quiet. Our host was brilliant, full of stories. Has his own bar and food was excellent.

Such a fantastic place, the host couple just as lovely, you feel extremely welcome from the moment you park your vehicle until the minute you leave. “Great little lodge on the village edge”

Very friendly and welcoming Thai-foreign owner couple. Lovely location on high riverbank under many shady trees. My bungalow was quite complete with good aircon and separate floor fan as well, good hot shower with chair and separate bathtub, several brooms, flyflap, door sealed against insects, cabinet (not just open rack), fast and constant wi-fi. And, oh: a good-sized terrace with outside light, outside fan and outside electric plug, big table, chairs and bin. The owners can bring mechanics and massage right to your door (highly skilled massage by Khun Boon recommended). Good food on the premises. I could park my car almost next to my door without blocking the view or seeing the car all the time. Owner couple very supportive. After I booked a room online and mentioned my preferences, they replied online that another room, slightly more expensive, would be better for my taste and they would keep that other room for me. They did, I paid a small extra in cash upon arrival, and was very happy with what they had suggested. They also helped me with other arrangements and invited me to join community events.
