The owners attitude was outstanding. So kind, helpful and fast responsive. Been there while the sky was clear and saw some mindblowing auroras, felt the real winter frost with constant -33°C and enjoyed the cabins warm coziness, and sauna too of course :). Our car also felt the frost and car's battery decided it's too cold to crank the engine (must remember to idle and warm the car couple times a day), so we had to call the owners, and Juho kindly helped us asap, and a lot, so we could continue our journey in time and no further plans had to be cancelled. Thank's again!!

Property had everything needed for the stay. Spacious, warm, comfortable. Viewing platform came in very handy! Amenities in great condition and services nearby and easy to access. Location is beautiful and peaceful. Host responsive to questions throughout entire booking.

Everything was great. Cottage has all you can need and surrounding is so beautiful and calm. Aurora platform is amazing, we have seen amazing auroras 3 nights in a row. And we absolutely adore reindeers.

Lomatärppi is one of the best places one can find! The cottage is amazingly arranged: you have everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, sauna, all is very clean and cozy (decorations deserve a special mention!) Juha is a very considering and supportive host, whenever we needed something, he was there to help! He also picked us up in Utsjoki to give us a ride to the cottage from Utsjoki bus station and back when we left, this was really nice and appreciated! As for the location - our cottage was located right in front of the river which is a natural boarder to Norway, the mountain view is really beautiful and impressive. Nearby (3 min walk) there is a restaurant, so you can always go there for a nice dinner. On the territory of the accommodation there is a Northern Lights Tower, which is a place where all tour guides bring their guests. This gives a special mention - you don’t need to book additional tours to see the Lights, everything you need is right here! Juha has also arranged a shelter for 2 baby reindeers, they will not live there all the time, but it was amazing to see how well cared they are. “Great to stay again”
Absolutely recommended, we had wonderful days. Very nice welcome from the owners, the house is fantastic (even festively decorated for Christmas), great grill hut, polar observation tower, and the fireplace and sauna are wonderful. We were lucky to see great northern lights. Our daughter was crazy about the local reindeer, which could be fed on site with the owner. There are several offers for activities and free sledges/snowshoes/skis. Not far from the Norwegian border. Not the last visit for us
