This place is such a gem: lots of open space around the cottage, private location with no neighbors, everything in the cottage, sauna and even in the outhouse is pretty, nicely decorated and comfortable. Amazing location next to a small river. Great sauna.

“Magical stay in Arctic cottage under the Northern lights”

Oh wow - that was one of the most amazing experiences we've ever had. It was absolutely amazing to be connected to nature and to disconnect from a stressful life. The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning - fully surrounded by raw beautiful nature and fantastic views. The wooden cottage itself was very cosy and contained absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. It was so charming to burn woods in the fireplace and enjoy a rustic sauna that we heated ourselves with wood logs in a separate small sauna house by the river. The hosts were super caring and kind, they were waiting for us in the cottage even though we arrived after 10pm. They showed us around and explained everything thoroughly: how to heat the cottage and the sauna, how to get water from the river etc. They kept checking on us daily as it was very cold between -25/-30 and brought additional wood the next day. Most importantly we saw amazing Northern lights during our stay. Oh man, that was something from another world - it was so beautiful, so special. The location of the cottage was perfect for seeing the Northern lights - in the middle of the forest, away from the artificial light - the nearest neighbour is 5km away. We loved this cottage and the whole experience so much that we cannot wait to experience it again in Summer this time - when it will be all green and full of Arctic flowers. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and tranquility.

“Nothing short of amazing”

We loved loved that we got to have our own private flowing waterfront, wooden sauna, and the grassy clearing where I could just lay down and forget about everything. The hosts are very kind and everything in the cottage has been placed with care and attention to detail. We were also lucky to have really good weather! I wish we could stay longer :)

“A magical, quiet, relaxing place!”

One of the best places i've ever stayed at! A little cabin right next to the river, far away from everything, with reindeers right outside your front door. The cabin was very comfortable with a fireplace, a woodfire stove and a good sofa bed. There is a great private sauna as well (and you can dip in the river afterwards if you're brave). No running water but the hosts left sufficient supply for our stay. I would 100% recommend and the hosts were lovely.

Very nice little cabin by the river. Everything ist decorated with love. There ist no running water, but this makes the location even more special. It's pretty peaceful there. I would definitely book again...

The owners are absolutely amazing and kind, the cottage and surrounding area are just gorgeous. We would love to stay here forever!

“Excellent and exotic! Surrounded by raw nature!”

Simply outstanding. You can get a chance to replenish yourself in the nature. There is no one in 25km radius except for the people you have gone with. The host is super helpful and really cares about your safety and how you are doing. We were lucky enough to see dancing northern lights from the property itself.
