“Great place with truly kind staff”

The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. It was clean and had a great view of the surrounding landscape. The beds were awesome, extremely soft sheets. The location is great if you want to visit Geyser, Gullfoss and Thingvellir park. What made this place truly special was the kindness of the staff. We got food poisoning from something we ate elsewhere (so NOT from here) and couldn't move on the next day. We were lucky enough that our cabin wasn't booked, so we could stay and they gave us a discounted rate! They also offered to get us any supplies we needed to get better and gave us rice, boullion and crackers for free. They were truly sympathetic and we are very grateful for their good care.

The location is excellent, very peaceful and the views are amazing. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had a great, comfortable stay in a cottage that had everything we needed including a hot tub with a view! I would definitely recommend and return.

Amazing place with great view. Extremely friendly host! We would love to come back. The hut was much bigger than expected. The restaurant was unfortunately booked for a private event that evening, but the host directly recommended other places and there was also the chance to buy something to cook in the hut. we would recommend to book a hut with a hot pot. It was nice and warm and very special. Thanks a lot!

We liked everything about our cosy little cottage (Ástarbunga). Lovely view, hot tub, well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa/bed. It's an amazing place with lovely owners who are incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for giving us interesting info on the history of Iceland! A perfect place to enjoy your holiday. It's close to Gullfoss,Geysir, Secret Lagoon, Brúarfoss, Thingvellir. Wish we could come.back in the summer!

The location was great as well as the feel of the cottage. We had all the necessary items in the kitchen to cook which was helpful.

Very nice place! The house is small but cosy! The personal is very nice. We didn't cook, but globally everything necessary was there.

The people that worked there was so friendly and made me birthday feel so special! They even came to let us know the northern lights were visible. The cottage was lovely and everything we needed

Spacious and comfortable cottage in quiet area. The hot tub was very welcoming after a day in the cold
