“Tourist Gem on the Polish Coast”

This is definitely the best place to stay in Ustka! New facility built just 2 years ago, directly at the beach. Great view of the port entrance, top tier interior decorations in the rooms, comfy beds with lots of cushions, varied breakfasts and also a superb area for the kids, next to a cosy spa zone with jacuzzi. In the evening you can have a feast in the Laguna restaurant (best pizza and a good selection of fish). Highly recommended!! Absolutely well deserved top rank.

Everything was absolutely gorgeous - beautiful design of the whole hotel, clean and comfortable room, rich and tasty breakfast and wonderfull restaurant downstairs, where we ended up dining every day of our stay in Ustka and tried almost everything of the menu. Hotel and restaurant stuff was accomodating and very likeable. ALso no problem with english and without polish cash. The beach is directly before the hotel, but it is usually very crowded, we had to walk about a kilometer along the beach to reach more vacant part of the seaside, but we apreciated the hotel's location near beach bars at the evening. Despite the location, rooms were silent during the night.

Fantastic breakfast,fantastic staff and excellent location

We didn't really enjoy our stay as it was cut short after the first night when my son felt sick and was admitted to the hospital. Breakfast was served until 10.30, but when I arrived at that time (I have a mobility problem and as a disabled person who uses walker/weelchair to move around I found extremely difficult to move in crowded areas this is the reason why I usually arrive at the very last moment, when the breakfast room is less busy, and this never was an issue during my holidays in various locations) at the Szerokie Wody I was approached by the waiter and informed that the breakfast is closed however I will be allowed to stay this time. I found it really upsetting and unpleasant! Out of the three nights booked, I only stayed one because my son was admitted to the hospital, where I was staying with him. This was an extremely difficult time for me and very stressful indeed. In these circumstances, I contacted Szerokie Wody from the hospital, explained the situation, and asked if it was possible to cancel my stay and refund the last night. I was refused and explained that the hotel pays commission to booking.com, and due to this, they can not afford to refund my money. I had a really bad experience there and no sympathy or understanding from the hotel management. I am very disappointed, and I deeply regret my choice. If I booked elsewhere, I might be treated differently with dignity and understanding.
