All good

This is a place like no other. Comfortable? Not, unless you consider walking 100 meters, half of it knee deep in crystal water, to a proper toilet comfort. Amazing? Absolutely. With own soul. Totally. It is small hut floating on a lake, with own terrace, grill and sauna. The lake is clean, pleasant to swim in and nature around is pristine, tranquil and beautiful.

A gorgeous little house on the lake. Stayed with 2 children and loved every moment. It is definitely full of character and unique. We were lucky to have glorious weather. To have access to boat and SUP was superb. The owner is an amazing lady - she provided us a breakfast ( additional cost) delicious and beautiful- real treat! Sadly we couldn’t use sauna - it was too hot to sleep in it after, but we have left buzzing with so many great memories! Real memories for life in a little Latvian paradise! Thank you ! 🙏

We had a great stay at Usma Lake, Zakishu Pirtinja (Bunny House). Things that we liked- 1- amazing views over the lake 2- peace and quiet. Loved the stillness of the lake, watching the moon rise, sun rise and set, fog lift in the morning - just stunning! 3- amazing nature all around you (fish, butterflies, ducks, birds, etc). 4- swimming was possible right from the house. 5- can just use rowing boats/SUP's for free unlimited. 6- friendly and chilled out owners/staff. 7- nice, clean and quiet grounds. 8- delicious and generous breakfast delivered to your house in a basket (€10 extra per person).

“Amazing cozy place to relax in sauna and jump in the lake. Tasty homemade breakfast!”

We spent amazing time at this cosy and warm place in January, sauna was ready before we came and we could also jump in lake afterwards - it was just wonderful! Even though it was -11 outside it was very warm in the small sauna house. There is everything you need. Harina took such a care of us and made our stay so comfortable! The view and nature is amazing! The best place to rest from noise and stress. Highly recommend! And you will never regret ordering breakfast there - it is SO DELICIOUS! :)

“More sauna than overnight stay”

Unusual place to stay. You receive your own boat. Well-equipped: towels, dishes, haidryer, electric stove, grill. There is electricity, hot water, compact toilet, shower. It’s cosy to relax in a deck chair if you are lucky with the weather.

very unique place. we would for sure come back next time. great atmosphere on the lake for dinner and breakfast in the sun. sauna on the boat also great. the owner even started the fire before we arrived. could jump into the lake after the sauna even in May. best breakfast in Latvia, really lovely. great communication before and on site.

Very interesting location that you need to reach by rowing a boat. Enough place to relax outside of be house, grill something and enjoy the water. Car can be parked near the lake. You can take a boat free or charge to the lake as well.
