“Peaceful lake escape with warm hospitality”
This place is very special to our family, and we come back every summer. We’ve stayed in the resort’s different lake houses and all have been great. The Swan House is cozy and charming, and since it’s only reachable by boat, it was an extra adventure for our child. Waking up to the sounds of the lake—fish jumping, raindrops (we had a few during our stay), the wind in the reeds, and birdsong—was simply magical. The owner is a wonderful lady, full of energy and creative ideas. Her warm hospitality and the super tasty pancakes she made for breakfast made our stay even more memorable.

“Great for birdwatching”
The natural surroundings, watching the birds, barbecue on the deck, enjoying the view. Staff were friendly and approachable. Quirky design and having to row ourselves out to the room added to the experience. Breakfast hamper delivered to the Swan House was an extra special touch (breakfast was extra cost, but delicious)

Beautiful place on water. Swan house was comfy and with everything you might need for a trip in nature. We got lucky and had amazing neighbours, so that made our trip even more enjoyable.

The house itself was very nice, comfy, cozy and a beautiful view. It was very quiet and calm all around. Overall that was the only pleasent thing about our stay.

“Amazing!!!”
Great experience! Can only recommend everyone to stay here. You have to take a rowing boat to the cottage (toilet available on the boat - bathroom extra in a cottage on the shore). It was (basic) lovingly furnished, great breakfast, nice owner. You can also row around the lake by boat, hardly any people - the highlight of our trip in Latvia!
