Best hotel in Ushuaia to see the area or when travelling to or from Ushuaia airport taking a cruise. Luxury resort and Spa for those staying longer. Great location looking over Beagle Channel

Great hotel! You should definitely come to Ushuaia, it’s beautiful with many wonderful excursions to do and amazing places to discover. And you should definitely stay at Los Cauquenes! Everything went very well. The staff was very friendly and professional and communication was easy using WhatsApp, either in Spanish or in English. The moment you arrive, you feel welcomed. The property is beautiful, very warm and cozy. The decoration is amazing and the gardens surrounding the hotel are very well preserved with lots of colourful flowers. My room was very comfortable and spacious. I especially enjoyed the view, the bathroom with a bathtub (very nice after trekking) and the nice bed. You also have a minibar if you want to keep something cool and if you need to wash some clothes, they will quickly dry on the heating system by the window. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of choices and easy to eat healthy, with many fresh and delicious options. The dinner was also great! I ate there every night and everything was also delicious and very well presented. And you have an amazing view and a great staff serving you. I also enjoyed the gym facilities (much better than what I had in other hotels in Chile, where I started my Patagonia trip) and the pool. The outdoor heated jacuzzis were also extremely enjoyable, esp I after long trekking days and a workout at their gym. Definitely bring swimming trunks or a bathing suite! The hotel also provides a free shuttle to the city centre and they offered me a transfer from the port (I was on a cruise before), which was very nice. They can also easily arrange a transfer to the airport (it cost me 16000 pesos) and excursions. Overall, one of the best hotels during my Chile and Argentina trip, and I would definitely come back. Highly, highly recommended 👌👌👌

“Beautiful calm hotel with very nice spa.”
The hotel is very calm and facilities like Spa or dining room are not busy, there are plenty of options to sit and relax with beautiful view of Beagel canal. It is definitely not cheap but worth money if you are looking for nice calm place with Spa.

This 5 start hotel is worth their rating. It was superb, the staff was very welcoming and assisted with some issues that were not related to my stay. They have a free shuttle bus that will take you to the city and back. As I was not able to attend breakfast we were able to get breakfast boxes. The room was very spacious and very clean with excellent shampoo etc. We had a parking lot view but it was very beautiful as the view was also to the mountains. Spa is small and no steam room but it was never crowded, the water was very warm and you could enjoy being outdoor. They have a heated outdoor pool connected to the heated indoor pool, also indoor and outdoor jacuzzis and a sauna. It is an excellent place to take time off and enjoy the view.

“Highly recommendable for a longer stay”
Beautiful location outside of town , very quiet with stunning views . Outmost attention to detail at Spa, servicing the rooms. The breakfast was excellent with local products. Very good bar menu and dinner . All staff members were very professional and attentive . Excellent location for cold-water swimmers! We swam every day at the ocean .

“Stunning hotel and exceptional service”
The property and communal areas are stunning! The room was lovely and clean and had all the usual facilities. We enjoyed spending time in the spa and you can also have lunch/afternoon tea in the spa. All the staff were exceptionally attentive and incredibly friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is fabulous. We went on the boat to see the sealions and penguins which was amazing, well worth the money as you are on a little boat as appose to a ferry. We got very close to both animals and saw an enormous star fish! Our guide Lucas was exceptional and was very generous us telling us a ton of history about Ushuaia. The cost of the hotel is high but it was worth it for the views and the communal areas and service received.
