We had a perfect time at Las Retamas B&B and enjoyed our stay a lot. Vanessa and Gastón are amazing hosts and made our time very special thanks to their top notch recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and much more. They also helped us organizing trips and excoursions, which we appreciated a lot. The breakfast was really tasty and home made, we also loved that we could join them for a delicious Asado at home.The place is located ca. 15-20 min by foot from the center or a short Uber/Taxi ride. 100% recommendation to stay at Las Retamas during your trip to Ushuaia.

I stayed here yesterday, and Gastón and Vanessa were wonderful hosts. They provided very helpful information about places to visit in Ushuaia and prepared plenty of breakfast for me. The room was very clean, and I truly felt like I was staying at home. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back.

The owners were very friendly and helped me to plan the best trips. I rebooked all my tours based on their opinion and it was the best I could do. The breakfast was also very good.

Gaston and Vanessa were very helpful in planning our activities. When we arrived, they suggested a few good options and helped us organise everything. We also joined them for an asado: tasty food, good wine, and a nice experience. They run a pleasant B&B with clean rooms and a solid breakfast.

They were always ready to help — our tours were arranged in no time, and even with discounts. They also gave us plenty of tips for hikes and restaurants, all of which turned out to be absolutely worth it! Everything was spotless, and the breakfast was more than satisfying. In short: highly recommended. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Gaston and Vanesa were absolutely amazing hosts, and were a major highlight of our stay in Ushuaia. The place itself is pretty and welcoming, and has anything one might need before or after a day of exploring. On our last night Gaston and Vanesa decided to hold an asado night, this was some of the best meat and wine we've had in Argentina!

“Best place to stay in Ushuaia!”

Gastón and Vanessa's hotel was the perfect place to stay at the end of our trip to Patagonia. Ushuaia is wonderful and has so much to offer. Gastón and Vanessa have even more to offer with their hospitality and kindness - the hotel is super cozy, super super clean (!!!), the bed is really big and confortable, the breakfast is delicious - always with fresh products and perfectly customizable, they will make you feel comfortable. They gave us fantastic tips on what to do, from hikes to tours (the visit/walk to the "Pinguinera" is a must! Hire Piratour). The hotel is well located, close to the center of Ushuaia and since we had a car, Gastón gave us his parking space. There are certain attitudes that are priceless, we really admire that. If we were to return to Ushuaia, we would stay here again without thinking twice! Obrigado :) Mario & Catia

“Gaston and Vanessa make welcoming, excellent and special hosting. Very recommended.”

The room is clean and nice. The breakfast is tasty and excellent. The hosting is charming, lovely and cozy. You can feel yourself at home. Gaston and Vanessa make sure beyond any expectations everything is ok. For example, Gaston volunteered to give us a ride to some of the treks starting points and cooked us food after the sheep trail.

We had a fantastic stay for three nights! Everything was perfect—spotlessly clean, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great hot water. If we ever return to Ushuaia, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

“Nice place to stay in Ushuaia”

Nice comfortable guest house in a good location. Main trade street and supermarket are in a 10 min walking distance, marine port is 10 min away by taxi. Hosts are helpful and easygoing. Our room was preheated by our arrival and all in all it was warm. Water and coffee are available on the kitchen, breakfast may seem boring to some people, but we liked it (the hostess makes tasty cakes). Cooking our own food on the kitchen also wasn’t a problem.

Gaston and Vanessa are exceptional hosts. They took very good care of us. Gaston recommended day trips and activities based on our wishes and the weather forecast. He also booked tours for is with a discount. The breakfast they prepared in the morning was delicious, with fresh eggs, cake, cereal, and sandwiches. Our highlight was the homemade barbecue Gaston and Vanessa prepared for their guests one of the evenings. The best meal we had in Argentinia! It was also nice to socialize with the other guests.
