Overview
Ideally located in Uriages-les-Bains in the heart of the Alps, only a 15-minute drive from Grenoble, the Grand Hôtel & Spa Uriage welcomes you with in a Napoléon III-era building with mixing contemporary and Belle Epoque décor. The hotel offers rooms and suites, each individually decorated and inspired by the famous guests who have visited the town. Each air-conditioned room or suite has a minibar, a TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes and a bath. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, lunch and dinner. It serves regional cuisine with an emphasis on vegetables in a warm atmosphere and offers a view of the park. You can also have a drink in the bar-lounge (closed on Monday). The onsite spa has a heated swimming pool, as well as a sauna, hammam and a garden. Beauty and physiotherapy treatments are available for an extra charge.

“Highly recommended especially to spend a relaxing holiday”
I would highly recommend this hotel especially to couples as the atmosphere around this hotel is so serene and relaxing. The spa facilities are amazing - the sauna, steam room and both the indoor and outdoor pools are exceptionally clean. We had the opportunity to stay in the attic rooms, which were so cosy and equipped with all amenities. From the window, there are views of the alps and the surrounding gardens where one could go for a long walk to enjoy this picturesque village. This hotel is ideal for a getaway holiday to relax and unwind and have time to destress.

“A perfect place in the way to the Alps”
The hotel is located in a very nice village in a prealps valley, with shops, cafes and restaurants around but still a quiet place. We really like to do a stopover in this place when we travel with out dog. We also enjoyed in interior and exterior pools.

Beautiful hotel and location. Each room is individually decorated and mine was lovely - including the enormous bathroom. Restaurant and bar area were good, breakfast lovely. Staff were very helpful and nice. The whole surrounding area is beautiful.

“Wish I came here 40 - 50 years ago !”
It was probably an attractive spa x resort hotel 50 x more years ago in a nice location within easy reach of mountains x the beautiful city of Grenoble. However it needs a major redo , renovation x upgrading to live up to its potential. Currently it is dated , no spark x the staff is in the same mood.

“Nice but dated spa hotel”
We arrived before 3 pm, our room was not ready but we were greeted in a very friendly manner and were able to get our room slightly early. In the meantime our luggage was stored and then brought up to the room and even though we were a bit late - receptionist organized a nice table on the terrace at the restaurant for lunch. The restaurant btw is really excellent we ate lunch and dinner and the terrace is beautiful, service is friendly and attentive. We didn't try the breakfast though due to rather mitigated reviews and a hefty price of EUR 20.

“Hot springs heaven”
THE SPA! A must try if you ever visit the area. And the pool and sauna are the cherry on top. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent Uriage products. Breakfast is copious and generous.
