“A peaceful and welcoming stay!”
The property is situated in the quiet town of Ramstalund—perfect if you need to get away from bustling cities, but still near enough to the centre of Uppsala. Not far away are various places to get away and experience nature; in fact, there’s a real gem a 15 minute walk from the property, a dam surrounded by pine forests (see the photos)—perfect for the contemplative solo traveller. Aranka (and Solomon) were super friendly and accommodating, making sure I always had everything I needed. Be sure to stop and have a chat with them!

“Idyllic rural retreat”
Friendly yet non intrusive host. Gorgeous small village surrounded by green fields and Forrested little hills. Wild flowers everywhere and peonies and iris ablaze in the garden. Quiet!!! Easy access by bus from Uppsalla. Plenty of back roads to walk. Cherry juice with breakfast made from the tree in the backyard. I happened to arrive just before Midsummer - what a treat to.join the local celebrations!

Aranka is such a kind lady! She took care of me like her own daughter!!!!!! The breakfast and all her services were top notch......... If I ever have to stay again I'll go with this apartment. Really loved the home stay and the places around! I suggest this homestay to everyone who is visiting Uppsala!

Thanks Aranka for amazing breakfasts and nice hospitality. We had a great talk before I left. I also got some recommendation about what to see. If I’m around next time I’d stay there definitelly again :)

A very cozy room with a balcony. The hostess was very nice, helpful and accommodating. Good location, in a quiet street not too far away from Uppsala. Overall we had a very pleasant stay!
