Friendly family atmosphere. Good hearty food. Amazing location - opposite historic church in stunning little village, and so quiet!!! And the hills and castles and churches nearby are beautiful - flowers everywhere in late May.

“Quiet and friendly, authentic hill hamlet location”

The hamlet is very tranquil and very unspoiled. The hotel is super friendly and extremely quiet and comfortable, with a local cuisine restaurant, good coffee, very welcoming staff and restful atmosphere. Cycling over the col, with its Pyrenees views, was a delight in itself but the aspect to this hamlet was 11/10.

Staff was helpful, the place was very tranquil and the room was very very clean - beds were comfortable (aside from the strange long pillows) and the food was good. The staff doesn't speak English, so you need to be prepared to use google translate or Spanish

i travelled on my Motorcycle from France to the PICOS. i have stayed here before and i made sure i used this place again as i was extremely happy with the stay last time. the accommodation is in a small picturesque village directly opposite a lovely old church. the room was perfect, clean and had everything i needed for my short but memorable stay. the food was good and the beer cold.. they don't speak english and i don't speak spanish but we had fun with google translate ...

Proper off the beaten track , 17 people live in the village .Get your phrase book out as no one speaks English. But it’s great , the restaurant opens at 9 pm so you’ll be eating late . Very relaxed

The room was basic and spotless. It's in a very small, remote village. There's no other shops or bars. I ate very well while here, and slept really well as it was super quiet. I left the windows open all night and woke to the birds in the morning.

Super clean, friendly staff

The direction to the hotel is vague, It took me awhile to try to call someone there and unfortunately I couldnt speak spanish and so did the lady on the line. I sensed something that she asked me to wait, so I did in the dark on the road, she found me when I was about to leave and she showed me the hotel, that was nearly midnight. She was nice to ask me if I felt like dinner, that made up everything, so I started to feel ok then I found the room is too cold, I told the keeper and she said, its the thermostat that controls the temp, I slept in the cold and the noise from the bar downstairs. But, i was still ok. On my check out day, I went down for breakfast and the hotel keeper kept on talking to me via google translator and ask me to teach her how to greet, welcome guess. I found it was a lovely culture exchange during the trip, so I spent sometimes teaching her, I notice that the check out time was near but I didnt see any movement of new customers, the room next to mine was left opened, it was my mistake, to be fair to not to check if its ok to check out late. When I did checked out, I got 25€ fines. I can't help to not to be impressed at the end of the day.
