Lovely tranquil setting. This place has a lot of potencial.

“Dirty, grimy, unhygienic! Unpleasant.”

The unit was filthy dirty and unhygienic which made our stay very uncomfortable. There was hair in shower drain, beds and cupboards. The kitchen appliances, draws and shelves were sticky with grime. The braai grid had never been cleaned. When we had messaged the owner, she said it was 'wear and tear'. She sent a cleaner who didn't address any of the areas that were mentioned. The cleaner only did the dishes and made the beds. The unit needs a major deep-clean to be satisfactory for having guests stay. The lights by the outside bath also didn't work, so we couldn't bath there. Overall, a very unpleasant stay!

This is the second time staying on the property. The last time we stayed at the tin shack. It's honestly become our favorite holiday for myself and daughter.

The location is perfect (it is beautiful, the air is super fresh and crisp and all the sheep running around was fun to watch).

An amazing place to stay if you want spectacular scenery and a good night's sleep. We loved the decor and the electric blankets on the bed were fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped. The host gave really detailed instructions about how to find them.

Amazing location and lovely little cottage type place. Indoor log fire was lovely and kept the room warm in the evenings. Comfy beds with electric blanket! Amazing views. Bbq and outdoor fire. Can stroll around the dam too which is nice. Lovely being surrounded by animals. Super peaceful. Owner provides some wood for fire but need to bring own (can get from SPAR)

The place was nice and peaceful, it was everything that is shown on Booking.com but the cleaner needs to do a thoroughly cleaning, the toaster was very dirty, stained from outside, the kettle was dirty too, floor not sweeped well and some of the cups were dity too.

The quiet surroundings lend to ultimate relaxation and a true farm experience as you watch the cattle and sheep shuffle through the feedings padocks. The Dams offer such a great vibe to the atmosphere, with the bird life entertaining you whilst they shuffle back and forth between the two Dams. If you are looking for a true value for money accommodation in the Underberg area, this is the best cozy spot for you and your family. The best part of it all is the fire basket outside and the fire place for inside. Make sure to take plenty wood to keep your fires on the go for those chilli winter night and mornings.

Amazing property, something completely out of the ordinary. Beautiful view, and loved all the animals. Fishing was good considering its winter. Host was very friendly and professional. Will definately be back.
