Great location – close to Unawatuna and Galle but in a quiet neighbourhood. Though shops and restaurants were very close by. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, breakfasts were good and there was just enough food for two people to eat – no unnecessary waste like in hotels. And the garden with an outdoor shower was just lovely. Definitely recommended!

“Really good place for couple of relaxing nights”

The villa is small but cozy and comfortable. Hot water and good pressure (highlighted as not everywhere in the area have it). Bed really comfy, aircon and ceiling fan a huge plus!

Shanika and her whole family are the best hosts you can wish for! I was blessed with a wonderful breakfast every morning, made with lots of love! Thank you so much for the beautiful hospitality! And the room of course was also as already described by many others before, just perfect!

“Lovely villa in a good location.”

This was a really comfortable villa. The bed was very large and comfortable and the mosquito net was really welcome. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the bathroom had a hot water shower. The linen and towels were very clean and the space was also super clean. The patio out the front was a perfect place for morning yoga or workouts and the lovely garden was really nice and restful. Breakfast was varied and tasty. We enjoyed all the different flavours very much and the fruit was perfect. Keep in mind that Dalawella is on the edge of the jungle so there are ants but the kitchen was very easy to keep clean and ant-free. The location is good; away from the main road and railway line but only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

“Peaceful villa with great hospitality”

The villa is quiet and set back from the busy main road, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, 15 minutes by scooter/bus to Galle, and just 5 minutes to Unawatuna. It was clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and mosquito net, a kitchen, an outdoor grill, and a handy shower for rinsing off sand after the beach. The owner was very kind and helpful—she arranged a scooter that was delivered directly to the villa and always responded quickly to our questions. Breakfasts were excellent and different every day. A perfect place for anyone looking for peace and relaxation away from the city bustle.

This stay exceeded my expectations - it truly is a private, gated villa with your own garden to roam and everything you could need. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, host was beautiful and welcoming. Location was also great, not far to walk to turtle beach and some great restaurants nearby (Jungle restaurant had amazing curry).

Beautiful villa, very clean with a large comfy bed and everything you need, including good aircon. Location is great, just off the main road enough to be peaceful but within easy walking distance to the beach. Owner is lovely and attentive, providing a good breakfast each morning. Only improvement I could suggest would be to have a sign for the property off the main road. Otherwise a fabulous stay - thank you for having us!

“Great value for money next to beach”

Amazing villa very close to the most famous beach in the area where we swimmed with turtles for free. There is an amazing Jungle restaurant near as well. Hosts were superkind and made a very local breakfast for us. Highly recommendable as we wish we could have stayed more there!

“Intimate and amazing experience”

We stayed at Sahasna Villa for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. If we hadn't already had another accommodation booked, we would have definitely extended our stay. The accommodation itself is really charming, with a lovely design that's hard to find at this price range. We were with our 3-year-old child, so having our own kitchen was really helpful when we wanted to prepare something special for her. It's just a 5-minute walk to Dalawella Beach, which was our main destination. The beach is very close to the main road, so all the accommodations on the beach had reviews with negative information about the noise from traffic. Therefore, Sahasna Villa has the perfect location – in the village, 5 minutes from the beach, but away from the noise of the main road. The walk to the beach was always enjoyable, even for the little one. We also greatly appreciated the outdoor shower, where we could clean off the sand before entering the house after returning from the beach. The hosts are extraordinary, eager to solve any problem. Our daughter even played with their daughter, which was such a lovely moment of joy for both of them. We had to postpone our check-in by 2 days because our flight was canceled due to floods in Dubai. Although theoretically, we couldn't make changes or cancellations without cost on Booking, the hosts completely understood the situation and allowed me to change the dates at no cost. We are very grateful. We send endless praise for the wonderful breakfast served every day. 3 days – 3 different breakfasts, with fruits, coffee, and traditional food. A delight and joy every morning. 😊 Just a 2-minute walk away is a restaurant called Jungle Restaurant where we had some really good curry, for those who don't feel like going all the way to Unawatuna where there are many dining options.

I really recommend sahasna inn unawatuna 😍...The place was quite clean and comfortable..We really enjoyed the time we've spent there...The owner was very kind and friendly 😍...we had a tasty breakfast..We'd loved to go back ❤️🥰

“Absolute Gem!”

This is a great spot just a quick drive to main shops,bars etc but is so beautiful, set in the trees.. We loved to see the monkeys and other wildlife around us each day. Amira is a great host, we really loved seeing her each day and her breakfast is DELICIOUS!! Outdoor shower is great for hosing off after a hot day or visit to the beach. Recommend to hire a scooter while staying here. We paid 8500Rs per day and travelled all around the coast from here.Magic! Thankyou Amira for making us feel at home 🙏
