Good location, everything is near, market, restaurant s, pharma, main tourist street and lot of other places. Very tasty food at the place. Good breakfast. 2 pools always are clean. Stuff are very nice and helpful. House where is reception is like a museum))) Every dollar that we paid is worth of it and I think we got more than we paid. In reality is much more better than on the photos.

As we arrived they served welcome drinks but when we entered the room was not really as good as they charged us...too small with a bathroom with just a hand shower which worked like drizzling rain and flush not working. the receptionist (one old man) was too rude and when asked about it he said this is what you get in a standard room. on every thing we tried to mention, he reminded us that we have booked a standard room... trying to show us you get this in this price (room they charged us was for 4k plus Inr) at dinner we ordered chicken fried rice again to our surprise the fried rice had just a few pcs of chicken for name sake..literally, just some sprinkles when we told about this to the chef he says this can be served in this budget. the dish was charged at rs 800 rs INR our room didn't have blankets too when asked for, the receptionist rude man banged the phone and said that if you want it we will send and what blankets they provided was the one you distribute to the road side homeless sleepers... honestly felt like they were giving us shelter for free. we can give good reviews for the breakfast, it was really nice to our suprise since we had a bad experience at night also the lady at the reception in the morning was very polite and kind enough. when complained..they gave us a 15% discount that took after my wife insisted.... which is actually nothing for ruining our holiday.

“Nice stay with gorgeous pool and gardens”

We stayed for 1 night and really enjoyed having the pool! The hotel itself is lovely and was kept super clean and with good AC (we needed it). We booked a basic room and it was great for the price. The gardens were stunning and we got to see lots of peacocks and monkeys. The breakfast was yum.

The location, heritage value and the pricing

I liked the venue and the location - that it's right on the main road. The staff was very nice too. The hotel is green, scenic and it's nice to walk around. Lots of birds and of course monkeys!

Simple, very clean and comfortable hotel. Amazing breakfast and value for money. Staff are so happy to help with anything. Stayed for 3 nights in 2 rooms with my family of 4 with Mountain View, saw monkeys out of the window.

Nice hotel, lovely gardens and pool is good too. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection is good and tasty. Aircon works well.

A large and historic hotel with charm. Wonderful pool, good rooms and a huge garden. We stayed in 10 different hotels during our holiday in Sri Lanka and this was our favourite.

Lovely quiet hotel just on outskirts of the hustle and bustle of Unawatuna. Lovely rooms, excellent service , food was excellent. The chef attentive to getting it right for allergies. Nice facilities. Most people spoke good English and were really friendly. The Ayurvedic Massage was really lovely. The breakfast spread was excellent and still has traditional Sri Lankan food on the menu. We would almost certainly stay here again.

We have stayed here many times. It's always good. Staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is delicious. What's not to like??
