“Beautiful Stay”

Beautiful and comfortable rooms and a stunning view, especially from the restaurant. Breakfast was different every day and very good. The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is up the hill which makes it more quite, but it’s better to rent a scooter to get around. We could rent the scooter directly there for a fair price. Overall great stay

Breakfast was unreal. Something different everyday and everyday was delicious. The rooms were BEAUTIFUL, so tranquil and relaxing. Would definately stay again.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view at the ocean. I also liked the bathroom-window where you can see the trees while taking a shower. Breakfast was very good and they arranged a Tuk-Tuk ride and also gave me the contact for an airport pick-up.

We had a beautiful stay at Lara’s place! The host and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming. The accommodation is set in a stunning location overlooking the sea. We had the best night’s sleep we’ve had since arriving in Sri Lanka, and the breakfast was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

We loved this beautiful stay with Lara! The staff - superfriendly, helpful and talkative! Helped us avoid some tourist traps and they were all very warm, Happy and kind. The view - stunning. The breakfast - the ”dot above the letter I” as we say in sweden, absolutely wonderful, delicious, local and with variation from day to day. The location - great, a nice walk up the hill along temples, Locals and nice greenery. Honestly - the best thing about Unawatuna and we would come back just for this hotel!

Amazing hosts, in a fantastic location. Help you with any troubles & recommendations needed, from days out, to restaurants or even sorting a bike rental. The breakfast was amazing different Sri Lankan style everyday, Lara talked us through each dish & what it was & the correct way to eat. We loved our stay.

Wonderful location, high up with stunning views especially from the breakfast area. Good sized room with a wet room shower and mosquito netting. Mini fridge and kettle. Large outdoor seating area.

Good breakfast with a beautiful view.

The hotel itself is really beautiful. The dining area on the rooftop offers incredible views, and the staff are absolutely lovely. They even allowed us to take a shower after we had already checked out, before catching our transfer to the airport, which we really appreciated. The food was also quite good and varied, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, everything was excellent.

Its a beautiful, authentic, and quite place to stay. for me this is the perfect size of hotel (5 rooms or so) the rooms are comfortable, clean and bright. the view from the breakfast-terrace is wide open and also the breakfast is very Sri Lankan adapted for us europeans.

Stunning views. The room was comfortable with a balcony with views over Galle. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Shower had hot water and they even provided incense to burn on the balcony to keep away the mozzies.

We stayed in the penthouse with an incredible view – absolutely breathtaking. We truly enjoyed our time there. The host was very kind and helpful, and everything was relaxed and uncomplicated.

“A wholesome stay”

Me and my family had a great stay here. If anyone wants to wind down - this is the perfect place to be in the middle of nature and you can see the ocean from your balcony and just relax. The staff were friendly and catered to any special requests. The breakfast was awesome and there was a great variety on both mornings.
