Very nice place to stay on Ohrid lake. Rooms are good, staff very welcoming and nice. Breakfast was excellent! We loved our stay.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast is served in the shade of trees. Small private beach is just across the street. Lovely home made fig jam.

Herges is two in one : a guesthouse and a camping .The location is wonderful :first line ,just opposite the lake across the road .Here is one drawback which is non stop noise from cars driving up and down the busy road .So,if you sleep light ,it will be absolutely necessary to have ear plugs as there is no AC in the room and you won’t feel comfortable with the balcony door closed at night . The room is nice and clean ,the bed is comfortable,one towel is available per person .Another drawback :there is nowhere to dry your beach towels and swimwear.There was one plastic chair on the balcony and l used it for that reason .l saw other visitors used the balcony rails to dry their towels and beach clothes but it ruins the beauty of the facade as the building is really elegant and fully decorated with blossoming flowers everywhere . There is also the fridge available to be shared on every floor in case you want to cool the water or some fruit . The tap water is not drinkable ,better to ask the owner for some. The territory is really beautiful:there are so many trees ,bushes and green grass to hide from the day heat.The car parking is spacious and you may be sure your car is in the shade all day long. Breakfast was included and it is very traditional local food which is:petulla,fig jam ,one egg(boiled or fried ),a piece of white cheese ,a glass of milk and water . They have a restaurant and you may have lunch and dinner there as well.Cash to pay with .There is no menu but the owner’s son told me what they have and l could choose from that list.The food is very delicious and plentiful,price is more than acceptable.They didn’t charge me for fruit from their own garden .It was really nice of them . The beach is little but there are tables with chairs,sunbeds ,umbrellas ,trees and bushes to hide from the sun and green grass all around .

The boy who accepted us was really good hearted, we felt at home.....The room, the clean, the lake...the brakfast! The surroundings. There is great restaurant just next door. We were surprised that there is no crouwds of people there, so calm...

Delicious breakfast, friendly staff

The family running this place is doing everything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is good. The lake is fantastic, lots of (harmless) snakes are chasing little fishes. The water is crystal clear. Nearby Lin is a real gem and Ohrid with a great atmosphere is only one hour away. Highly recommend
