Location is good but not clear

The accommodation is exactly what you need for a two night safari stop in Udawalawe. For this low price you get an apartment with three rooms and two bathrooms in nature. There is also a river right in the garden where you can refresh yourself. The host was also super hospitable and helpful.

The location and the staff. We had Sarunga? He made breakfast, lunch and diner, cleaned, was taxidriver and great safariguide!!!

Amazing place near the Udawalawe National Park. Really good traditional food on the river. Sipi is the best guide for an unforgettable safari, friendly and generous!!! Recommendable!!!!!

“nice Stay with riverside”

The environment was calm and peaceful, rooms were amazing with the private bathroom. Staffs was friendly and hospitality was nice. Even though the stay was bed and breakfast we had our lunch and dinner. All foods were freshly cooked and more then enough. Hope to stay again at Aliya riverside. Safari with Aliya riverside was amazing experience.....

“Nice Stay”

We upgraded our room and got a tent with a patio with a view over the lake, and it was the best. The tent is very nice and clean, the bathroom is big and clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful with everything. We had drinks and lunch on the patio, while looking at birds and monkeys in the trees over the river (tip: bring some binoculars. We used ours alot looking at many different birds). The food is very good and the surroundings while eating are so nice. We booked our safari tour through the hotel, on booking.com, and when we asked the staff what time was best to go they said at 5.30 in the morning. And they were very correct. We had a jeep to ourselves. Our safari driver was so fun, nice and very observant. He was fast at driving (but still careful) and running (into the ticket office), so we were the very first to enter the park and within 10 seconds we saw two pregnant elephants and a wild boar with babies! We had around 5-10 minutes with them alone before a few other cars came, and it was a great experience. Our driver took us places where there were no other cars to see elephants, crocodiles, tucan birds, deers and many more animals. We felt like we were completely alone in the park. He could tell us many facts about animals and was very eager to show us how beautiful the park was. He also made sure that we felt that we had seen enough and satisfied with the tour, and we really were. This experience is something we will never forget, and the hotel and safari is definitely something we want to come back to.
