We love to stay. It was amazing. The owner of the stay was soo sweet and he visits you every morning for breakfast. That is an amazing and refreshing thing that I have experience in a state, and also he looked after each and everything highly recommend.

it was a truly wonderful experience. My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The property has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff made it even better. Everyone we interacted with was extremely co-operative, polite, helpful, and humble, which really added to our comfort. Our booking included breakfast, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared with great care — we genuinely loved it. Overall, The Cavalry – Abhay Niwas gave us a memorable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udaipur!

Absolutely loved everything about this property! 😍 Oh myyy God, the host was just awesome! The moment you enter the hotel, you feel completely at ease like you’re in your own home. The uncle who manages the place is so kind and welcoming. My birthday was on 12th October, and even though he wasn’t feeling well, he still came to the dining area to wish me and give his blessings that truly touched my heart. 💖 The rooms were neat and tidy, the location is perfect close to all main spots, and the breakfast was delicious! The washroom was super clean, and the bedsheets and blankets were spotless and fresh. Everything was top-notch! 🌟 Highly recommend this property to everyone — and I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

Big clean rooms, good location, beautifully decorated, not noisy and private

We enjoyed our three nights at The Cavalry. Since the first moment, we felt comfortable. The colonel and his son were welcoming and charming at all times. The curfew hour at night was the only inconvenient we found, though they were flexible in the end. Nice stay in Udaipur!

Loved the whole warm & eloquent ambience of the Cavalry! It was an impeccable experience for a homestay- loved the royal aesthetic & splendour of the beautifully designed place. Would highly recommend this place who would love to travel to the city of Udaipur! The location is at the heart of the city- so extremely convenient and an exceptional hospitality from the kind, warm-hearted hosts who left no stones unturned to make our stay utterly comfortable! Also, I would fondly remember the deliciously handmade breakfast- which felt like the comfort of home food! Thank you so very much for a lovely time!!

From the moment we stepped into Cavalary, it was an enchanting experience. The property itself is an epitome of design, blending traditional Rajasthani elegance with contemporary comforts. Every nook and cranny is adorned with taste, creating an ambiance that is both inviting and sophisticated. But what truly sets this place apart is the warmth and care extended by the Col Udai sir and family. Their genuine smiles and heartfelt welcome made my wife and myself feel instantly at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, anticipating our needs and exceeding expectations at every turn. We were served delicious hot breakfast which easily had 3-4 items like, poha, paratha, fruits, sharbat, omlette, cake etc. (Every day is a new menu which is being managed by Ma'am). Caretaker Pawan is also cordial in nature and is quick to assist as and when needed. Adding to the property’s allure is the rich tapestry of its history. It's clear that the family's deep-rooted history in Udaipur, as descendants of the Mewar dynasty, has instilled in them a profound sense of hospitality. Recommend this property for people who are looking for a home like comfort. It is conveniently located to all the major hotspots like markets, restaurant etc. @Special Mention. - If you are fan of vintage vibes, a historical place where you like to indulge in storytelling, Udai sir is your go to man. He even showed us around the property which was sweet of him. His son, Kalp too was forthcoming in every way possible. It was my birthday and he went out of the way to receive my parcel and keep it with him as we were out for dinner. It's these small things that can make up for a 5 star experience for any traveller! “Wonderful stay in a beautiful city”

We had a great time at Cavalry. The room was large, clean, very well appointed and superbly comfortable. The rest of the property is also wonderful with lot of pictures and memorabilia of the family's history. Colonel Udai Bhan Singh was a very kind host and made us feel very welcome. He joined us at breakfast and shared some wonderful stories of his family's history and roots in the City. The location is about a 10 min rickshaw or taxi ride from the City Palace and Lake Pichola and there are a couple of nice restaurants nearby as well.

The breakfast can be improved. Fruit juice and more options for continental and north Indian cuisine would be much appreciated.

The hosts were wonderful people. Had good conversations with them. Breakfast was freshly made and very tasty. This won't be our last visit ☺️

The stay was exceptional, with delicious meals and a highly convenient location. The hospitality was outstanding, and the property provided a comfortable and safe environment, especially for women travelers.
