All was amazing. The view, the flexibility of the owners, the great support and kindness of Manish. You need to try the breakfast it is delicious. It is the most enjoyable stay in India for me.

The home stay was located right by the lake. It had a wonderful balcony overlooking the lake. The whole house was beautifully decorated. The hosts were very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here. This is a great place for female solo travelers. I felt very safe.

Super clean, comfy bed, lots of hot water and good location. Lovely hosts who gave us lots of good advice and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped arrange our onward travel. Best of all was the Breakfast, home cooked and tasted amazing.

“A wonderful experience in a beautiful city and setting.”

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Location was excellent to walk in the city to explore. The welcome we were given by Lovely Jitu and Manesh was outstandingly welcoming - just like being a member of their family. Suggestions for where to explore in the city recommended restaurants were given. The tickets were booked to see a local dance performance and puppet show. Laundry was sorted. The gift at the end of our stay was very much appreciated thanks.

Everyone made us feel really welcome at Oolala which is in a great location being within walking distance of many major sites. In a quaint position down a tiny lane, there are great lake views from the rooms and the roof terrace. The delicious breakfasts prepared by Lovely were a real highlight.

Probably it has been the best place we stayed in India. Small, quiet and clean street in other ways very touristy Udaipur. Owners did their best to make us feel at home. And it is right on the lake with a best view possible...

Beautiful property! Out of the way down a quiet side street which was bliss. The staff are absolutely wonderful - Manish is there 24/7 and is very kind and helpful. The room was wonderful with a great view over the lake. Fantastic home cooked breakfast 100% recommend. Great location!

“A delightful stay in a lovely guesthouse on the lake.”

This guesthouse is in a lovely location, next to one of the lakes but only a 15 minute walk to the main palace. It is run by a charming couple who go out of their way to welcome and assist you. We were in the Green Room, overlooking the lake. There is also a rooftop terrace with comfortable chairs. Guests have to walk the last 5 minutes up an alleyway, but this is not a problem and means that you hear no traffic noise at night.

Amazing hosts, who were warm super helpful and very informative. The views from our room were beautiful and our bed was large and comfy! It was in a peaceful off road location literally on the lake. The breakfasts from lovely were delicious and plentiful. Lovely will not let you leave hungry 😊 Udaiphur was our favourite city so far and we would definitely stay here on our return.

“Perfect for the city of lakes”

We liked everything! The room had a great view over the lake! The breakfast is very good and fulfilling, either you ask for continental or Indian option. The staff is great, always looking forward to please and make your stay more comfortable. We arrived early in the morning and they let us do early check in for no extra cost! We’re really thankful for making our experience in Udaipur so memorable!

Amazing homestay in Udaipur! 100% stay here. Lovely and Jitu are amazing hosts and their caretaker provides incredible service. Best place we stayed in our 2.5 weeks in India. The location is perfect, room is clean with great lake views, and breakfast is amazing.

“A memorable stay with great hosts, we loved it, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”

Our hosts Lovely and Jitu offered home cooked breakfast every morning, either Indian or continental, both were excellent and substantial. We didn't need to eat again until evening! The location was an easy walk to the main sites, maybe 10-15 minutes gets you to most places. The location was perfect, streets are busy with life in the evening but nights were quiet, we slept well.

“Fabulous homestay with unbeatable views”

We had a wonderful stay with Lovely and Jitu. From the moment we entered we felt completely at home. Views across the lake from bedrooms are beautiful and the rooftop is the perfect place to relax, read a book, and watch the sunset. One our bests sleeps in India on a really comfy bed - as with all of India there is some noise, so earplugs were helpful. Breakfast was great - my partner said Lovely made the best omelette he ever had ! Thanks so much to Manish too for being a smiling face, keeping everything so tidy, and being available for anything we needed ☺️ We would absolutely stay here again !
