Location was fantastic (more laid back, upmarket and relaxed than Göreme). Room was very comfortable, bed and pillows great! Towels amazing! Water pressure was great too. Breakfast was BiG (enough to feed me for a week) and so pretty. Staff were outstanding and helpful. I arrived very early and couldn’t check in but they were still helpful and allowed me to get changed in a different room. Staff helped with airport shuttles, hot air balloon excursion. Walking tracks to love and pigeon valley are nearby. Easy to walk to and from Göreme too.

“Amazing”

Location, the decorations, kind staff… We enjoyed our stay too much. Breakfast was amazing, the staff greeted us everyday with a huge smile. Makbule Hanım organized our airport shuttle and since we had to leave around 5 am we were handed sandwiches and that amazing carrot cake. If I ever come back to Kapadokya, I’ll be staying here. Thanks again for an amazing experience.

Mak and her team were wonderful. We absolutely loved our stay. Every small detail of the room was well thought and aesthetic. The view from here is breathtaking. Highly recommended.

“A charming place to stay”

The hotel is located on the uphill of Uchisar overlooking the castle in a quiet place with the magnificent scenery of Pigeon valley from its terrace. What an amazing hotel and its staff! The room was spotless, big with the seating area and fireplace, the bed comfortable - had a very good sleep.The breakfast was delicious served in the Turkish style and you can have it inside or on terrace. The girls on the reception are very kind and friendly. The host was fantastic! She has a great knowledge about the city and surrounding area and arrange the ballon ride for us. Strongly recommended! When I come back to Cappadocia, I’ll stay here for sure. Thank you for your hospitality!

Mak's cave hotel was easy to find and location is a short distance from the Uchisar castle. Mak is an exceptional host. She was personally available for us during breakfasts and provided detailed guidance about where to visit keeping in mind out time constraints.

Such a nice cave house, the architecture inside is stunning. All the rooms are carefully decorated, we really felt at home. We wished we’d stayed longer. The breakfast is the most authentic one we’ve had in Turkey, and the staff is the kindest we’ve seen as well! Thank you Kado and the whole team!
