Beautiful family owned hotel - very kind and accomodating. Provided us with many recommendations and helped us book activities. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, fresh food and even better view to watch the hot air balloons. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

“Amazing stay with epic views and warm hospitality”

If you’re looking for a quieter and more authentic alternative to Göreme, I highly recommend staying in Uçhisar—and especially at La Maison de Sisik. The hotel is located close to the castle and has incredible panoramic views from the terrace. Watching the hot air balloons in the early morning was magical. You can also see Pigeon Valley, Red Valley, White Valley, Love Valley, and Göreme from there—all easy to reach. The breakfast was varied and delicious, beautifully presented with options for every taste. The room was nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Everything I needed was there. Ayşe, the host, was always available, friendly, and helpful with tips and local advice. The staff were also lovely—always smiling and welcoming. I truly had a fantastic experience and felt right at home. Would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Great hosts showed an unmost attention towards me. I had no requests but they were ready to help anyway! It was a great time staying there. Food was good, room was clean, check-in&check-out were fast and easy. The place looks amazing, the views from hotel's properties cannot be decribed in words. It is overall a wonderful cozy place, I would recommend it to every friend coming to Cappadocia

La maison de Şişik is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated, while honoring local traditions and atmospheres. The view from the terrace is splendid. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. We are particularly grateful to Ayşe for her kindness and generosity. Thanks to her, we were able to go on a horseback ride without worrying about the organization, discover the Rose Valley benefiting from her knowledge and explanations, and have long discussions about the local way of life, the differences with France, and our respective customs! Her impressive level of French must also be praised! Take the time to explore the collection of decorative objects carefully sourced by Şişik himself, to stroll on the terrace at sunrise or late in the afternoon, and to chat with Ayşe and Şişik to learn more about local life and the adventures surrounding this house. If you are lucky, you may even experience the traditional dinner organized by Ayşe with the help of her family. We highly recommend taking part! If you are looking for an experience close to the locals and the traditions of the region, La maison de Şişik is the perfect place. “Outstanding hospitality and a great view over the valley”

This place is truly a hidden gem in the charming city of Uchisar. The owner made us feel immediately at home and went over and beyond to meet our wishes. She organised a home cooked dinner which was the best food we had during our stay. Best part is to wake up with a view over the valley and have breakfast on the terrace on a traditional lounge set.

The hotel is at perfect location next to castle, the staff Lady was so so nice she was awake for us 2:00 am and helping us finding the hotel- very supportive she also planned detailed daily itinerary for us, breakfast was also very nice. Very beautiful hotel and terrace would definitely come again and recommend it.

It's a very cosy place. A lot of things with history. Located close to attractions. The outdoor terrace has a great view of the mountains and hot air balloons. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly!

Really incredible location made even better by the outdoor area/rooftop terrace that provides plenty of space to relax during the day as well as an incredible view of hot air balloons in the morning. The breakfast is also the best we’ve had so far in Turkiye.

You will never find better hospitality and service than here. As soon as we arrived we were met with the friendliest owners, a complimentary breakfast and a room upgrade. Surely we could not expect for the stay to get even better, but it did! Sisik showed us around Pigon valley, Aisha arranged for different excrusions, and both of them continuasly made sure we were comfortable. Extraordinary room, with amazing roof top terrace overlooking the hot air balloons in the morning, pigeon valley and Uchisar castle. Clean and comfortable. Best stay we have ever had, and could ever wish for!

That was an amazing accommodation experience! A family runs the hotel, and they are so friendly. It's in a great location in Uchisar. It has a gorgeous view from the terrace. They serve an amazing/huge breakfast buffet.

The experience at La maison de Şişik was wonderful! We experienced a truly traditional experience, exactly what we wanted. The accommodation is located in a very good place, the view takes your breath away and the employees are extremely friendly and do their best to make you feel good. The owner also helped us choose a hot air balloon trip that went perfectly! The breakfast was also very tasty and varied. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!
