The restaurant is open from March to December on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Car parking and bike storage are free of charge on-site. The daily breakfast will be served in the beer garden and Wirtshausstadl. Gästehaus zum Felsen lies on the train line between Radolfzell and Friedrichshafen, with half-hourly trains between 05:00 and 24:00. Überlingen town centre is a 10-minute walk via the promenade. The Bodenseetherme (thermal baths) and the Strandbad West are around 500 metres from the accommodation.

“Excellent”
Apartment was lovely and homely. Lovely private terrace. Wi-FI is excellent. Free Parking on site allocated. Bar and Restaurant is so nice and had lovely meal. Breakfast is superb - you must try the omelets. Best thing however is all the staff who are so friendly. Definitely going back to this little gem.

“Definitely my favourite place to stay!”
The property is a beautiful old inn, restored by the owners. It looks right across to the lake . The setting is peaceful and lovely. Best of all is the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners.

“This is the one and only place we would come back to thus far on our Germany trip.”
The hosts were the nicest, friendliest and most helpful for foreign travelers and their English is great. The breakfast was the best we have found in Germany. The cook to order bacon and eggs was of top chef quality. The suite was bright, comfortable and had the biggest shower we have seen not to mention amazing views of the lake. It was so nice to not use our car since the location is close to everything as well as the train and bus system which is super clean and convenient. And let’s not forget the 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach……wow! The restaurant is fun and relaxing and the food was outstanding as was our server. Overall, this place has it all……..beer garden/deck, wine cellar, restaurant, fun adult beverage vending machine, great location, amazing hosts and staff………10/10.

“A Place With Character”
Fabulous hosts who ensured our stay was comfortable and we had all the information we needed while staying in Uberlingen. The facilities were clean and the place had character and charm. An excellent breakfast was offered each morning. Would highly recommend.

Hardy and Marion were wonderful hosts and provided a great level of service. Their recommendations and local insights were invaluable. Breakfast is amazing ....... The cosy bar/restaurant is very good (not open every night though). Proximity to the main town and ferry services is very easy ...... especially in Hardy's 'limousine'.
