The location is super beautiful, right in the middle of nature with monkeys and beautiful birds passing by. The breakfast is simple but good, and situated in a cute patio, having a few over the pretty garden. The chalet is basic but clean and comfortable. Sometimes there are some small cute frogs who are very motivated to enter the chalet (and sometimes managing), given the stay a very back-to-nature vibe. The host is friendly and can tell you all about activities and tracks in the neighborhood. Lastly, the chalet is only a 10 minute walk from a beautiful viewpoint. If you look for a quite place in nature, we definitely recommend this place.

Herbert and his wife have a beautiful Sitio, we saw more wildlife here than the national park itself! Lovely and peaceful, great communication and directions too. The accommodation as good and comfortable, we hope we can come back!

The host was really nice and helpful. He recommended hikes and restaurants, and also helped us with the transportation during and after our stay. The place is really beautiful and calm.

Herbert's place is a little piece of heaven! A few cottages in a big garden, surrounded by forest. Everything is peaceful, it's perfect for a couple of day retreat far from the crowd. The cottages are simple, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is taken in the garden (loved the homemade bread!). I was travelling without a car, but Herbert's place is close enough to the park entrance to walk (2km, 30mn walk). Warm welcome from Herbert and his wife. Herbert speaks French and has a lot of tips on what to do in the area, and also on places to visit on the coast of Ceará. I'd definitely recommend this place <3

We loved the full immersion in nature and the exchanges with the super nice hosts Ana and Wilton. The highlight: watching and listening to the monkeys jumping around on the trees of the "garden" (or forest, actually) of the pousada from the comfort of a hammock. The panoramic view at the end of a short trail is also incredible.

Unique location in the forest, practically in the national park. As close as one can get to camping without staying in a tent. The property has a nice "private" trail to a fantastic viewpoint 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast was excellent, considering the staff have to bring it a long way from the main house.

The highlight: watching and listening to the monkeys jumping around on the trees of the "garden" (or forest, actually) of the pousada from the comfort of a hammock. The panoramic view at the end of a short trail is also incredible.
