“Old house, but clean and practical. Super location.”
Excellent location: Easily accessible by car, great hiking area, or as a stopover between Bergen and Oslo. The place was clean. It's an old house, so it's a bit worn. Good Internet connection with wifi. Big living room and lots of space. We had guests in the afternoon, and the dinner table could easily fit 10 people. All necessary kitchen utensils.

“It was fine.”
we loved the preheated room. It felt like we were warmly welcomed. Almost the whole experience was fine except for two things. The day we arrived. The warm water stopped coming and there was only cold water that day. Because of that we were not able to take a shower. 2nd thing there were no bed covers available for free of cost and the bed's mattresses were extremely smelly and there was dirt sitting on them. Therefore we had to buy some of the bed sheets. The rest of the stuff went pretty fine. The Good thing what we did; We cleaned the whole house just because we thought it might be a must. But right afterwards we realised it wasn't necessary at all. All and all Thumbs up 👍.

We weren't there as I mixed it up with another Røisheim 2 hours away from the booked appartment.. I realized this 24 hours before planned arrival and called immediately. Unfortunately, the landlord wasn't prepared to reimburse the recurring cost element, such as cleaning, heating, handing over etc., Let aside the rental cost. So he made everything right from his financial point of view although booking.com offered him to reimburse also a fraction of it. I called again, but he kept his hard line. Certainly, he was legally on the safe side...
