This refurbished 1600s farmhouse is situated on Tjörn Island, 18 km from Stenungsund. It provides free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped shared kitchen and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Lekanders Bär & Boende has been owned by the same family for 9 generations. Each room has a bathroom with a shower. Some feature a private patio. A breakfast buffet is served daily. In summer, guests can grill in the garden. Strawberries, black currant and raspberries are grown on site. Bär & Boende’s common room features a TV, newspapers and dart facilities. “Sweden as you dream about it”
Very nice hosts, everything clean, quiet, relax. Excellent breakfast. You feel at home, or even better: like in the book Children of Bullerby by Astrid Lingren. And Tjorn is a beautiful island where you need at least 4 days to discover.

“Lovely homey B&B”
We really enjoyed our stay with Anso and her family. They are not making you feel comfortable but making you feel home :). A big plus is the delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread buns and homemade jams. The kitchen is well equipped and clean to cook easy meals. We were there during strawberry season and could pick them from the fields for free :)
