“Although the hotel is a bit old, it is generally clean and the rooms are large.”
There is a portable air conditioner in the room that is very loud. I had to turn it off before I could fall asleep. (But even in the desert without air conditioning, it is still cool enough to sleep on summer nights.)

At 9:45 a.m., there was a deafening test fire alarm that didn't stop for the 15 minutes until we checked out. Strangely, it only sounded on the 4th floor, where we had our room. Perhaps that was intentional, since we felt like we were the last guests to leave the hotel that morning. It was a disgrace.
