“Exceptional Stay at Hotel Pension Alpengruß”

Our 5-night stay at Hotel Pension Alpengruß was absolutely exceptional. The location is fantastic — right across from the lift’s lower station (in season), which makes getting onto the slopes incredibly convenient. And if you’re heading to Hintertux Glacier, the free ski bus stops just a few meters from the entrance. It truly couldn’t be easier. But what really makes this place special are the hosts, Jasmin and Martin. They are unbelievably warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the comfort of every guest. From the moment you arrive, you feel not just welcomed, but truly looked after. The guesthouse is modern, cozy, spotlessly clean, and feels like a home away from home. The food is excellent and prepared with care — the perfect beginning or end to a day on the mountain. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Hotel Pension Alpengruß to anyone visiting the area. It’s a place you’ll want to return to.

We spent 7 unforgettable days at Alpengruss and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The location is excellent – incredibly quiet, with no traffic or noise, making it the perfect place to relax. It’s also an ideal starting point for both cable car adventures and scenic walking trips. The cable car and local bus stations are just a short walk away, which made getting around very convenient. The half-board option was excellent, with delicious meals and local beer on tap – a real treat after a day of hiking. The landlords were exceptionally friendly, always ready to help, answer questions, or simply have a pleasant chat.

Location was great just opposite the bus stop where buses ran every 10 mins. The owners and staff were fantastic and the breakfast and evening meal perfect.

Bilo je zadovoljstvo biti gost u ovom hotelu.Svi su veoma ljubazni.Hrana je veoma ukusna, posebno večera koja je "kulinarske čarolija". The Family running the hotel and staff were all amazing and I highly recommend the half board (Dinner was super amazing) and you should not miss it, all home made and very tasty and very well presented. The service is perfect. They really care about their guests! The rooms are clean and well equipped there is nothing to complain about. Also the the chef is phenomenal!

The location of the Pension was ideal as it was directly opposite the Eggalm Bahn and only a 5-10 min drive to the Hintertux Glacier. The breakfast was very good and the evening meals were excellent - all home made and very tasty and very well presented. Martin, Jasmine and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
