Friendly staff, beautiful pool, very comfortable rooms in both apartments and hotel with added bonus of balcony in hotel room. Great location also with short walk to square.

Room was fine, standard hotel room style and in good condition. Quiet, slept well. Staff were very friendly and nice. Breakfast was great, hot cooked food and plenty of it. I'm a veggie, and they had scrambled eggs (and I think another type of cooked egg?) so I got my nice hearty protein boost in the morning, I looked forward to going down for it :)

I had a very nice stay, the location is excellent with private parking off the street, I was offered vegan options for breakfast and in general everyone was really nice and welcoming. I used Karel IV as a base for visiting my friend and her family and I was very cozy here. Turnov and surrounds are truly beautiful, so it makes sense for me to come back and enjoy trips with my friend and her family. I will happily stay in Karel IV again.

Well located, tasty breakfasts (better than average Chech hotel we have visited before). It seems the owner pays attention to renovations.

Great location, self-service bar. Receptions is modern, but rooms are kept more authentic. Everything was clean. Simple breakfast.

Location was fine, at a walking distance to the city center. Breakfast options were plenty. The swimming pool area was quite nice.

This is an excellent location from which to explore the beautiful Czech countryside. Great people, services, and the possibility to learn about the 1000 year history of the Czech nation.

The staff was polite, the room was very clean and cozy, and the shower had warm water :) The breakfast was varied and delicious. On the ground floor, there is a vending machine where you can buy essentials like hygiene products, water, and snacks.

“Nice pitstop in a sleepy town”

Very friendly reception giving advice on walks, decent choice at breakfast, regularly replenished. Hotel located near the walking trail into Mala Skala area but quite a distance from the train station (about half an hour walk). We were allowed to get a room in the morning when we arrived rather than waiting for the regular check in time which was great!
