We like the vibe of this place, very relaxing and we feel like we are connected to the nature again.

This was a unique experience staying in traditional Kazakh yurts, allowing us the laid back vibes as a modern-day nomads. The yurts are beautifully decorated with local crafts, I enjoyed the peacefulness and connection to nature that the location provides. With scenic mountain views, it's a fantastic escape for nature lovers.

The caretaker, Alex was great. He took care of our needs and was very nice. The location of the Yurts was really good.

“Stay in a Yurt!”

We stayed in the Yurts in the middle of September. It was a very interesting experience for us - definitely a must try if you're visiting Kazhakstan.

Very friendly host, beautiful place in nature. There is running water, electricity in the evening and natural toilets. The host even organized firewood for us and lit a campfire in the evening.

The Yurt is good for 2 or more people and has an array of interesting traditional items. No surrounding noise made for a quite sleep. Other travellers in adjacent yurts mixed easily around an evening wood fire with intersting conversation.

The location is very good and Amir is very helpful.

“Not so good value for money”

It was a difficult check-in during a very rainy day and still the staff was very helpful to ensure things went well.

The friendly nature of the caretaker and the efforts to get us the keys so we had somewhere to stay on the drive east from Almaty. The yurt was comfortable with mattresses on the carpeted floor. The setting was rural countryside and very beautiful.

The experience overall was really good. The staff was very friendly, they also have animals on site (horses, a dog and a cat) which makes it fun. We were the only people staying in the yurt but the staff made sure we were comfortable and well catered for. It was very cold at night but they lit the stove for us and left a lot of wood for us to use throughout the night to keep the yurt warm. They also lit a bonfire for us at the camp, even though we were the only ones staying there.

Everything was clean, it's not in Turgen valley but it's close enough.

I liked the treatment you get from the owner to the caretaker of the yurts, it really is a good experience if you want to live as the nomads lived.

“Unique experience”

This was an unique and great experience. Sleeping in a yurt is a "must do" while visiting Kazakhstan and this was a good choice. The location is nice, with the beautiful view to the mountains and away from the busy cities and streets. Inside there was a little kitchen, so you can make some food and tea while staying, also a bbq outside. Yurt also had a heater, so you will not get cold even if it is snowing outside (that happened to us!). Host was very friendly, greeted us, showed around, there was even table prepared for us with the little snacks, tea, and eggs for the morning.
