Super nice staff, who were very helpful with anything concerning restaurants, i-bike rentals, and tours. The rooms were nice, and I particularly enjoyed the common area in front of the dorms. Would recommend :)

“Perfect, authentic getaway!”

Theres only been 2 stand out hotels we’ve stayed at in the last few years, The Rosewood in HKG (#1 hotel in the world) and the DAP in Turpan (just as enjoyable an experience!) We wanted an authentic Uighur experience heading out to Turpan (something like the bleak Holiday Inn was absolutely not going to set the scene!) From communications with the wonderful host Tang, who ensured all our needs were met, to the most darling Golden Retriever who greets you at the door with tail wagging. The common areas are just so quaint and well appointed (and Tang makes a wonderful Cappuccino which is a nice little luxury to start the day!) The room was perfect for a small family. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was clean, quiet, comfortable, warm and also had her designer touch! Tang offered to arrange us a driver for the day who was fantastic (and let me mention saved us $4500HKD from organising ourselves online!). We were also directed to some local little restaurants, and whilst we had to point and guess at the menu a little, it was such a fabulous little area to be in, and a great change of pace for our boisterous 4 year old! Thanks for a great stay. We can’t wait to come back.

The hostel building is very nice, the couryard is beautiful and my room was big, comfy and nicely decorated. The bed was a big traditional platform bed. The position is great, the hostel is not in town but in a nearby village which is very pleasant The lady in charge during the day is very nice and helpful and speak very good English, while the lady on the night shift not so much, possibly because of the language barrier..

We loved our stay here. Excellent spacious room, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lots of great spaces to sit and relax in the hostel. Pleasant walking through the old town and surrounding countryside. The owner was delightful and super helpful, spoke perfect English and with great communication before we arrived. She organised a day trip for us around Turpan we we really enjoyed. Definitely highly recommended.

“A real gem”

We had booked a double room with a private bath and we were more than happy with our choice. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed, and we met interesting travelers. The hostel is situated in a nice, friendly neighbourhood with lots of small restaurant and we enjoyed it very much to sit in front of the hostel, seeing the world go by. In the morning with a very good coffee, in the evening with the local red wine. Sometimes children or the local English teacher come by to improve their English. Tang and her team are very friendly and helpful and she speaks excellent English. We enjoyed a great day out to some of the scenic spots in the area, Tang organised for us. As it was so hard to leave, we booked two more nights.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location is ideal, close to everything you need and perfect for exploring grape town. The place is very well run, clean, and welcoming. The hosts are truly wonderful, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I especially recommend talking with them about possible visits in the surrounding areas; they gave me great advice and helped organize some unforgettable experiences. Highly recommended!

“Best choice for Turpan”

One of my favourite places to stay on my trip till now. The staff, dog (Wandou) 🐶🤎, kitties, rooms, bathrooms, design, facilities, places to chill,... Even the typical chinese thin mattresses were here better than in other places! I wish I could have stayed longer.

This hostel is amazing! It’s a little paradise and the perfect place to take a little break on your travels. The hostel has many areas to sit and rest and there are also pets around (Wandou <3) The hostess is just wonderful; she is very helpful and helped us organize a personal driver and itinerary for our short stay in Turpan. Of our week in Xinjiang, Turpan was the absolute highlight no doubt!

Great atmosphere, helpful staff

The manager, Tang, is always helpful: very good English (which is a rarity in the region), prompt in the reply to any previous questions you may have. The hostel has been made a cheerful and welcoming place, set in a nice local community, only a short ride from the modern village. Great setting, great host. Undoubtedly, the place to be in Turpan.

A wonderful hostel with beautifully designed rooms. Owner is extremely helpful and organized us a great driver/guide for a day to explore Turpans attractions. Would rate it more than five stars if possible!
