Overview
Located 2 km from Lake Trasimeno, I Capricci Di Merion is an Art Nouveau building in the Umbrian countryside. It offers a traditional restaurant, country-style rooms, an outdoor pool with a hydromassage corner and lake views and an indoor pool with transparent walls with olive grove view, equipped with a waterfall, hydromassage and chill-out corner. The Antica Residenza I Capricci Di Merion has air-conditioned rooms and suites, with oak-beam ceilings and handmade furniture. Each comes with free WiFi, a satellite TV and private bathroom. “A little gem.”
This is an old country house tastefully converted into a hotel. Lovely rooms, excellent service, fine restaurant for dinner, good value. Possibility to book exclusive use of spa (jacuzzi, sauna, unusual shower:) for an hour every day. Lots of parking (you need a car) and convenient for access to lakeside towns, Perugia and Assissi. Highly recommended!

“Amazing stay in a quite place”
The place is amazing, we arrived late in the evening and Julia gave us a very warm welcome. We also got a room upgrade. The largest suite in the hotel. The room had a kitchen, sauna, jacuzzi, 2 bedrooms with large beds made in Italian style. I was very upset that we booked this hotel only for 1 night. The hotel is situated in a quiet and very picturesque place. Highly recommended!

“Second stay and still totally worth it.”
I capricci di Merion is a hidden gem near Lake Trasimeno. The private spa is their best feature, since both me and my partner were in need of some relaxation time. The restaurant is also extremely well curated, from the decor to the menu to the wine list. Absolutely precious :)

Stunning location, building and gardens. Having the spa to ourselves for an hour was a luxury. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms spacious. The dinners and the pastries at breakfast were incredible
