Beautiful property. In the heart of the medina. The breakfast was great. We loved our stay there.

We had a serious issue during our stay. While we were away from the property between approximately 9:00 and 15:00, housekeeping entered our occupied room and removed personal belongings without permission. Our clothes were taken out of the room and later found in a common area (the kitchen), which confirms they were handled and moved by staff. After this incident, we discovered that 200 € in cash that had been stored inside a personal item in the room was missing. We reported the situation immediately to the property, but there was no clear explanation provided regarding what happened to the money. We find it unacceptable that guests’ personal belongings were moved from an occupied room, and we are very concerned about the lack of control and responsibility in handling guest property. We hope the management improves procedures to ensure guest belongings are respected and secure.

Lovely inn in a lively and quaint area of Tunis medina, with gorgeous rooms with balconies and plenty of space. But the staff at this hotel is the real plus here. My husband was sick and one manager walked me around the medina to six different pharmacies on a Sunday night to find him medicine. Above and beyond the call of duty. They were incredibly wonderful and helpful at every turn. The breakfast is huge, with fresh yogurt and granola, omelets and pancakes, and fresh breads, coffee and juices. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place for a fresh fruit juice, lunch or dinner. They're ready to help you with anything here, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tunis. Wonderful experience.

“Good, but not sure it’s a 4*.”

The best part (aside from the authentic architecture that the designers merged beautifully with modern comfort) is definitely the staff: kind, attentive, professional and helpful at all times. The location is good (keep in mind most taxis won’t drop you off or pick you up at the entrance, but 1 to 10 minutes away depending on the car size), our room had everything we needed and was clean, which we appreciated more than I can express, the mattress was comfortable (at least for persons weighing around 60 kg), and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The rooftop restaurant also serves very good food!

I really liked this hotel. It had a very authentic Tunisian local atmosphere, which made the stay feel more special and genuine. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay, which I really appreciated. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop restaurant. The view over the city was beautiful, especially at sunset, and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

“Beautiful periodic hotel in a perfect location”

It's a beautiful old building in an amazing location with a wonderful rooftop with views over the city. Breakfast was fab. The staff were amazing. It's just steps away from the souk and major monuments.

Lovely DAR to stay in and the breakfast was so nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located at a central location in Medina and is close to many attractions. The breakfast is very good as it combines local and European cuisine. The staff is very friendly, hospitable and share with you information any information one might need. The overall stay was very very pleasant!

Staff were professional :) Had a problem with the safe in the room (was making a weird noise during the night), and the staff quickly came and fixed it. Special thanks to Sami. He was wonderful.

The staff was extremely helpful when we requested for two separate beds by changing our room with two separate beds!

Everthing. The building is 200 years old and exotic. It is located in the medina, just near the souk. The staff members are very helpful and warm. Breakfast was great.

“Beautiful, but there is a thief among the staff”

Very nice and very good location in the Médina center. The staff was very kind a part of one guy that stole my sister’s Adidas hoodie. Be very careful and lock your luggage if you leave it at the reception before leaving. This is not a supposition but the reality. We are 100% sure that the guy from the staff stole the hoodie that was inside the backpack! Watch out!
