“Disapointment”

“Beautiful location”
The location is fantastic. In the period we have been there we basically had the beach to ourselves. There are sunbeds from the accommodation which you can use on the beach at no cost. The rooms with a view to the beach are the nicest. We enjoyed the view and the location. The room is basically decorated but comfortable. The breakfast includes koffee/tea, fruits, yoghurt and bread with butter and jam. More than sufficient for us and prepared with dedication by the lady serving in the kitchen. The personnel are very accommodating and helped us with any requests we had.

“Hidden Gem on Tulum Beach”
Room was great with private porch. Included sunbeds with palapas for shade. Walk barefoot from the room to the beach. Common sitting area that you could use in the evening. They would lend you a cooler to keep drinks cold, if you ask at the office. Breakfast was included. Close to a GoMart, liquor store and Deli for snacks. Sunrises were amazing. You could walk for km's on the beach. Very good value for money, compared to the other resorts sharing the same beach.

“A hidden gem”
Chan Cabañita is a hidden, somewhat raw gem. In the midst of the uncontrolled heavy commercialization wave that has hit Tulum, Chan Cabañita retains the natural, peaceful simplicity Tulum was once known for. The location right on the beautiful white powder sand beach is perfect. The 11 “huts” are simple but charming. There is free drinking water, sun beds and a decent breakfast. A supermarket 2 minutes walk away sells beer at normal Mexican prices (as opposed to the beach bar next door, where you pay 9$ for a bottle). See if you can book the beautiful beachfront “La Bonita” cabaña.

“Little "old style" place”
Location. It is very rare to find an affordable place at the Tulum Hotel zone nowadays. Staff was very friendly; breakfast, simple but good (fruit, toast with butter and jam, juice, and coffee). There's a parking for like 5 cars, you get shower towels, beach towels, toiletries and water bottles.

“Lovely place on the beach”
Dreamy place on the beach in Tulum. I was there in late April so it was very quiet. The room was very spacious and charming, basic but with such amazing views of the beach. Excellent value for your money

No-frills cabanas that have everything you really need - in room restroom, fan, mosquito nets, safe, porch, common areas in a shady garden, beach beds. Very clean and cozy, with good breakfast. Good value for its price in today's Tulum beach, and very close to what was beachside accommodation years ago
