The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone had smiles all of the time and seemed eager to help wherever possible. The only two complaints I would have is the bar closed early Saturday night when we were there. The website states open until midnight so we waited to have dinner until then (we had gone to the osu game in Stillwater and didn’t get back to the hotel until ten). Because of the closing early, we missed getting dinner. We had ate at the bar Friday night and the food was amazing! That’s why we chose to wait until we got back to eat as we wanted another one of the Cuban sandwiches as they were sooo good. The only other issue I had was with the hidden fees. Parking fees of $10 a night should’ve been stated at time of booking. I have no issue with the fee but it would’ve been nice to have that information up front. Also the extra charge for incidentals was confusing. What confused me is that the extra fee was charged up front however the day I checked out, I got the itemized bill which included the $100 for the bar (I tipped heavily to make the charge be exactly $100).that morning I got an extra charge on my card for $65 and some change overall between the two payments, I was overcharged by $35. When I asked the lady at the hostess stand, she was confused as well as to why $65 of the hundred was taken out of the incidentals fee and why I was then charged that extra. She did state that the extra $35 should be getting refunded in a few weeks so I’ll watch just to make sure. Overall the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness, the ease of location, etc was a ten out of ten. I will definitely be returning as my son is a freshman at OSU and this hotel is central to us and him.

Beautiful property. I became ill during the night and the staff let me have a late check out. I have stayed at this location several times, the staff and location are excellent.

“The stay was exactly what I have come to expect from Renaissance by Marriott; absolutely wonderful.”
Enjoyed the indoor pool and that it was open late. Liked the sauna. Roomed was clean and my 2 and 3 year boys really enjoyed taking the glass elevator to our room. The staff was great and put us in a room on one of the upper levels.
