This was our second visit to HeartnTree, and we absolutely love this place! The owner speaks English and is very friendly, and the food is simply delicious—everything is handmade, fresh, and healthy. The room was incredibly spacious, and we even received free entrance to a nearby onsen. The surroundings are peaceful, with lots of birds and animals, making the experience even more special.

Absolutely fabulous stay, great location for birding in winter (Red-crowned Cranes), fabulous hosts and equally fabulous food.

The food is truly exceptional & the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Their English is exceptionally good too. Rooms are simple with a shared bathroom and large living room with kitchen in a lovely rural location which allows access to the surrounding countryside & crane sanctuaries.

Exceptional Stay at Hearts'n Tree in Tsurnu, Hokkaido! I had the pleasure of staying at this charming family-run inn, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was immaculately clean, warm, and cozy - perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly made our stay stand out was the outstanding hospitality and delicious meals provided by the hosts. Using fresh local produce, they crafted 5-star meals that left us wanting more. The homemade bread was a delightful touch! I highly recommend staying at least 2-3 nights to fully unwind and experience the peaceful atmosphere. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat in Hokkaido, Hearts'n Tree is an absolute gem. Romantic and relaxing. A very pleasant back to the basic experience and a good escape for urban folks. Great connection to nature. Accommodation is clean and warm with necessary essentials. Most importantly the hosts were very friendly and wonderful people. Food was good and obviously self prepared and cooked with passion.

It’s a lovely place and the food is fantastic. We were lucky because we were upgraded to the nice little cottage up the hill! Really easy access to the area with the cranes.

The Heart’n Tree team was fantastic. I was very warmly welcome and got a great support on my photography activities. On top I enjoyed nice dinners and breakfasts during my stay. Worth to mention, the hotel is nicely placed to quickly reach all spots to observe the Japanese red cranes.

The food was really delicious and nice looking. The house is located on a mountain where has wonderful view. We also used rental bicycle to travel around，the landscape is more than word can express.
