Very cosy inn. Staffs was super friendly. Love it when I mentioned to her that I can understand japanese slightly and she patiently and slowly explained the check in procedures to me in japanese There's a big carpark right infront of the inn. Breakfast was nice! Very traditional Japanese breakfast. Onsen was great too!

A lovely family run inn in a small, quiet, calm and beautiful snowy village. Super friendly staff, super clean and comfortable and a lovely traditional Japanese experience. There was so much love in all the beautiful handmade items like placemats and chopstick holders.

This little family run ryokan was the perfect off the beaten track stay. We loved the personal touches, the handwritten notes, the wonderful dinner and breakfast. I would come back in a heartbeat.

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. The room and facilities were great and very clean. I enjoyed the onsen and the breakfast was delicious. A really great stay. Arigatou gozai masu 😀

Great service and food. Iiyama line was suspended but they offered a shuttle from bus stop nearby. It really cheered me up with the real vibe of “yukiguni” and outdoor onsen when snow flowing over me.

The onsen was amazing, after a day of skiing and relaxing to nice hot bath was the cherry on top. The locals were friendly and the staff were helpful.

Very comfortable room, staff were highly accommodating, considering we had a six-year-old and a one-year-old with us. We could also book a private Onsen for our family to enjoy. Meals were delicious!

“New and modern place with traditional setup”
Very modern and new building. The staff is very friendly and accommodated an early check-in (handover of the keys) without hesitation because we would be gone for the whole day to watch the fireworks in Nagaoka.
