“Good budget option”

This place is a budget hotel rather than a hostel, so lacks hostel facilities such as kitchen and communal areas. It is in a good location next to shopping area and close to historic centre. Owner is great, showed me locations to get buses and collectivos to Chan Chan and the Huaca del Sol. For me, bed is good, but pillows poor. Sheets etc clean.

Impossible to sleep. Bedroom beside reception. Light from reception shining into room all night. Loud television until late at night then early in the morning. Nighttime staff talking loudly on phone . People coming into hotel at 4am, 5am etc We asked for quiet throughout the night. Our neighbour in the next room complained too. We booked for 3 nights. Stayed for 1. What is the point in booking a room if you can not sleep?

Large room, big bed, secure, friendly staff, good wi-fi, central. Luggage stored free of charge on last day. I'd stay again.

The boss guy reaaly nice and helpful! The ropm was big ám ideál for is.

The owner was very helpful and careful about our arrival and stay, he gave us a lot of recommendations and offered us some tours around the town. The hostal was a walking distance to the center and the restaurant street so it was nice.

Internet only worked when I sat right next to the door of my room. And the en-suite bathroom was a bit run down, but after all it is a budget hotel, so I didn`t have an issue with that.

It was cheap, clean, water was warm enough, reasonably central and the staff were helpful.
