Quiet location with views of river from room and breakfast room. Lovely ambience of pilgrimage, and location near the cathedral made it special. Good buffet breakfast, and tables in library/lounge with faded antique style furniture. Very close to picturesque Bakklandet.

Superb location next to the cathedral, our room looked out into the churchyard. Rooms were very clean and beds were super comfortable. Although the decor is a little tired, this added to the charm of the place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but tasty and fresh.

“Just what we hoped for!”
It is a primarily a pilgrimage hostel but though it does that job excellently it also caters for anyone looking for simple (but not totally basic) accommodation. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer.

“Gem in Trondheim”
The location is fantastic. Quiet, overlooking the river yet close to everything. Even though it is a pilgrims' guesthouse the accommodation was plain yet clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The staff were kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would return.
