The Arctic Villa is so beautiful, the photos don't do it justice! We stayed in the three bedroom apartment which was spacious and had the most incredible view. Great amenities, really comfortable and cosy. Our host Lena was fabulous and kept in contact throughout our stay

We had a lovely stay at the Arctic villa in Tromsø. At our arrival we had a very warm welkom from Lene. The house is cosy and offers enough space for six people. A large living, a large kitchen and three (2 pers.) bedrooms! The view is amazing, from the balcony you can see Tromsø and the bridge. Lene is very helpfull and tells you everything you need to know. The busstops are around the corner and are very frequent. Lene offered us a hike in the dark with her lovely dog. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but the hike is really a one time in your lifetime experience.

“Wonderful stay at Arctic Villa”

Great location, near the cable car station and Arctic Cathederal and 10 min walk to supermarket and shopping mall. Just over the bridge from Tromso. We walked it a few times, caught the bus a few times and took a taxi one morning when we had to be at the harbour early for a whale watching trip. We stayed in 'The Cozy' one bedroomed appartment downstairs. Ideal for our holiday. Clean, spacious and with everything you need. Lene, the host, was superb with communications beforehand and then with information and hospitality during our stay. And if you want to try something a bit different during your stay, try one of Lene's breath-work sessions, a truly enlightening experience! In our opinion, a wonderful place to stay for a visit to Tromso and the surrounding area.

A lovely upstairs apartment located across the river from Tromsø city centre. It was a good size for our group of 5 adults And the host was lovely

Lovely apartment, even though it was the basement of the property it didn't feel like that. It was very spacious and still cozy. It was nice to have a kitchen with the basic essentials like oil, salt and pepper etc, and the moka pot and coffee was great to already have there! The bathroom was sooo nice as well. Lene was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make our stay so memorable, like bringing us pastries on sondag! (If I remember the name correctly) Location: it's very close to the arctic cathedral with a couple of bus stops there as well which was handy when we didn't feel like walking over the bridge to the centre, but it's still a really nice walk over the water.

Everything! The location was perfect, all rooms were clean and we had everything we needed there. The host, Lene, was amazing. So kind and helpful and even invited us into her garden with her family to enjoy the new year celebrations. We even saw the northern lights from the garden that night. It was magical.

Personally，it is the best position around Tromsø. It’s not that noisy like city center and not that remote like suburbs. Close to the cable car station as well. Meanwhile the householder Lene is the one of the best householder I've ever met，she introduced almost everything about this city. She also made a good atmosphere of my living.

Lene, our host was very kind and helpful. She was very reactive and gave lots of recommendations (transports, restaurants, groceries, viewpoints...). She also offered to do a Walk in the forest by night with a bonfire experience (3h, at a fee). The guest quarters had a pretty view over the mountain from one side, and over the fjord (city lights) from the other. We felt safe and cosy in the area and in Lene's house.

This apartment is exceptional. The host is lovely and very helpful. The view of Tromso out of the living room window is fabulous. The location is good - easy to bus around and very close to the cable car. We loved our stay in this restored villa.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, making it feel like home. Although it is not located in the city center of Tromsø but on the side near the church, it's not far to walk to the city center, and it's actually closer to the cable car. The host also offers various local activities to choose from, allowing you to experience more of the local culture and connect with people. This made my impression of Tromsø more than just a Norwegian city; it became a place filled with irreplaceable memories. Highly recommended!

This place has such a lovely vibe. Line was very welcoming and friendly, lots of useful advice. The accommodation decor is very grandma's cabin, which we absolutely loved. I'm so jealous of the yellow bathroom suite. Shower excellent, bed really comfortable, lots of places to sit together. Garden was absolutely gorgeous. Great wifi. Very straightforward to get into Tromso. Highly recommend the tasting menu at Emmas.
