The house was very cozy, clean, and tastefully furnished, perfect if you have to be confined indoors due to bad weather. Also, close car ride to the grocery store. The house is in a residential neighborhood which was nice after being in a hotel in Oslo in a busy city center. Quiet and comfortable. Tromso city center was about 15 minutes away by car. We saw the northern lights right outside the door our first night, although the building next door has too much lighting. But I found out from Martha, there is a trail up the road behind the house for darker night views.

It is spacious for my family of 6. Has all the facilities needed in a cold winter. Martha is a very nice host she allowed us to check in earlier. This is very much appreciated especially in cold winter. Parking right in front of the house is another plus point. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a cozy stay in this property.

Lovely kitchen with everything you need, nice dining area and cosy lounge area with large TV . Plenty of comfortable seating and lots of lighting. Very comfortable beds. 2 nice spacious bathrooms. Easy and frequent access into Tromsø by local bus. Nice snowy views from house.

“A quiet, clean, comfortable and cosy home from home in a great location.”

Our host, Martha very kindly bought us breakfast for our arrival. We felt very much at home as the house is decorated beautifully and is extremely comfortable and quiet. Very good water pressure in the shower and you will never run out of toilet rolls! The beds are very comfortable, with extra duvets and blankets (not that you will need them as the heating is very efficient) and the location very quiet. Do not be put off by it being next to a prison, as it is simply a wall with no view of the building. Martha was also very kind enough to clear the snow from our drive. We had a hire car and it only took 10 minutes to drive into the centre of Tromsø. We will definitely be returning to this lovely property.

House is beautiful inside and out. Everything is clean and works and owners are lovely people. Supermarkets are close. Walking paths and nature almost at your doors steps.

The house was really lovely, better than the photos in fact. It was very comfortable and spacious and the outside area was great. The beds were comfy too. It is decorated very well and was extremely clean. It is a bit further out of the centre but easily accessible by bus (the bus system is easy to use and we were left very helpful instructions about using the buses). It has a great outside decking area and gets a lot of sun. It is in a quiet residential area and we felt very safe.

After a long drive, I was in need of a place to rest before reaching Tromsø. I turned to booking.com and found a listing that looked appealing. I reserved it without much thought and little did I know that it wasn't just a place to sleep, but a home experience. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the warmest atmosphere that made me feel like I was in my own home. The bedrooms were cozy and tastefully decorated, the bathrooms were spacious and immaculate, and there was even a sauna that added to the overall charm of the place. The host was an exceptional individual who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Her hospitality was unparalleled and made me feel like I was staying with family rather than at a stranger's house. I am grateful for the opportunity to experience the life of one Norwegian home and its great atmosphere even being thousands of kilometers from my own.
