Everything was perfect! Beautiful place, beautiful views. We saw Aurora 3 times from there. The landlord Esther very nice, warm and helpful :) I highly recommend this place to stay in!

Very friendly host (Esther) who is willing to help. Free parking space. Facing waterfront. A very nice grocery near-by (not the usual ones/may be the best in Tromso- ask the host, 5min out). Separate bedroom with useful water pressure on the shower. Kitchen was well equipped. Useful outside picnic table if weather allows. Very near to the airport (10min) and about 20min drive to Tromso central. Located in a separate island, very quiet and peaceful. We saw aurora activity there as well.

The views were incredible from inside and outside the rooms. If lucky with the clear sky you can see the aurora / Northen Lights from the comfort of your room or the patio/outside area. Esther was great, accommodating and offered airport pick-up /drop off at extra cost. Accommodation has all utensils required, just bring your groceries. I loved the accommodation and hope to book again in the future. Can't recommend this accommodation enough.

We had an incredible stay on Hakøya Island, Tromsø. The house was cozy, warm, and had everything we needed. The highlight was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the property, overlooking the Arctic Circle – absolutely magical. Perfect location for a peaceful escape with unforgettable views.

Great location, everything you need on site, possibility of observing the Northern Lights,

The location is great, not too far from Tromso's main Island. Remote, therefore not too much light pollution. Snug cabin with reasonable space for 2 people. Great Wifif, TV and fridge, and cutlery and plates provided for food. Good parking area as well

It was so good to be back! I love the house and it's stunning location. Comfy bed,everything you need and Esther is a great and helpful host. I hope to be back again.

“Beautiful lodge with stunning views”

151 is a beautiful lodge with fabulous views and only a 20 min drive from the centre of Tromso. I would say you definitely need a car in order to truly explore the area. I brought basic condiments with me (salt, pepper, ketchup etc.) but there was already plenty there. I also brought tea coffee and sugar which was also already there. The grocery stores are closed on a Sunday, so if you arrive on a Sunday, try to get some basics such as milk and bread before you leave the airport.

“Lovely cosy cabin”

The cabin had an amazing view! perfect for a couple, we used Esther's service to drive to and from the town which was very convenient, highly recommend using the hot tub, it is for an additional cost but, well worth the money. Lovely for a few nights stay to get away from the main town and perfect to see the nothern lights!

“A peaceful and comfortable Nordic getaway!”

Esther was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and showing us round the property. The bed had to be the comfiest bed I’ve slept in that wasn’t my own bed! The area was perfect and remote which meant it was very peaceful and quiet, we rented a car so it was easy to get into the city with a 30 minute (slow) drive.

“Perfect island retreat to experience the northern lights in a hot tub”

Ester was a lovely host, very friendly and helpful on the local area. Location was amazing, 15min from the airport, 25mins to the town centre. Driving across to the island in the car in the snow was very easy. Sitting in the hot tub, looking across the fjord watching the northern lights dancing above our head was just perfect! Glad we upgraded to the cosy one bed home, as the sofabed room would have been a tad snug.

I had a wonderful stay at this house! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The decor was charming, and I felt right at home. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always quick to respond to any questions I had.
