From the moment we arrived in Tromsø, we felt incredibly welcome. Two lovely staff members greeted us at reception with such warmth, and we were pleasantly surprised to be offered complimentary cookies and hot cocoa — such a cozy and thoughtful touch after traveling. Our room was very comfortable and felt almost luxurious, with a modern design and even a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Everything looked newly renovated, and we honestly felt a bit “rich” staying there — in the best possible way. The breakfast area deserves a special mention: it has the most beautiful view in Tromsø, and the selection was incredibly generous. It was the perfect way to start each day. We also made great use of the wellness facilities. The spa area is lovely, with a large, beautiful pool where you can actually swim properly. The gym is spacious and mostly quiet, so you can use all the equipment without waiting, which we really appreciated. The sauna area is very nicely designed and relaxing, though we were expecting a Finnish sauna and found a Turkish steam sauna instead — that was the only small downside for us. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tromsø.

“Fantastico”

We had a wonderful stay at Enter St. Elisabeth hotel. Every detail of the suite was amazingly thought out, the kitchen was fully equipped (with stove, dishwasher, fridge, full set of appliances…) and the heated floor in the bathroom was so comfortable! We also loved all the matching soaps from Rituals. We could regulate the room temperature based on our needs and this was super useful, especially when coming from the outside cold. We could also get some rest in the hotel spa, which was very relaxing, and we used the (perfectly equipped) gym daily. The breakfast always left us satisfied: it featured foods from sweet pastries to cheeses, cereals, eggs and more. And the view from the restaurant was breathtaking. We had the luck of seeing amazing northern lights every night from the balcony of the hotel, as it is quite dark, and for this reason we didn’t need to book any aurora hunt tour!

We took a two bedroom apartment, which was very convenient, we were able to make our own cooking and had flexibility.

Spa of course

My wife and I stayed at Enter St. Elisabeth Suites & Spa for our honeymoon. We absolutely adored Tromso and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, the bathroom has lovely heated floors, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We made coffee every morning and even enjoyed making tacos one evening. The spa is lovely. It has a massive swimming pool that we enjoyed, a great steam room, and a jacuzzi hot tub. I would have loved a dry sauna but that's a very small complaint. The gym was huge as well with a good number of treadmills, stationary bikes, and weight machines. They also had turfed section which I didn't expect. I would have loved a Peloton but again a very small complaint. The location is a little out of the downtown area, maybe a 10-15min walk depending on where you are going, but my wife and I enjoyed the walk and fresh air despite the cold. We also had a lovely view of the harbor and fjord, evening seeing the Northern Lights from our room multiple times.

Room was very nice - clean, spacious, lovely sea view and nice facilities. Breakfast was fantastic, a good range of foods in a dining room with a view across the sound. We liked the Spa swimming pool / steam room and the well equipped gym. The staff were very friendly and professional.

The spa is absolutely incredible! It was very quiet during our stay and we could access it whenever we liked. Staff were also very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with nice views. The view from the breakfast area was superb.

The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The location itself was on the top floor with an amazing view. The breakfast-chefs were extremely friendly and took personal requests. The rooms were cozy and warm. The bathrooms were big. The spa was stylish, relaxing and included a pool, a hot tub and a steam sauna, as well as various relaxation spots with free tea and coffee. The was staff was welcoming and extremely friendly. Thank you :)

Breakfast until 7-10am is unusual for weekends. 11am would be better. Breakfast is basic and cram packed between 9 and 10
