It’s a beautiful cabin just outside of Tromsø. The cabin carries the family history of its owners and is lovingly and thoughtfully decorated throughout. The living area with the kitchen and fireplace is very spacious, as is the bathroom. The sleeping area is located in the loft and can be reached via a somewhat steep staircase. For safety reasons—especially at night when heading to the bathroom—a handrail on one side of the stairs would certainly be helpful. 🙂 Otherwise, the cabin is beautifully situated. In the morning, we were even able to watch moose right from the window. With good conditions, you can see the Northern Lights directly from the doorstep. A big thank you as well to Sylvi and Asbjørn — two incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who shared many valuable tips with us. We will definitely be back 🇳🇴🙌🏻

We had the most extraordinary stay here, and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The house itself is magical, and you instantly feel at home. Sylvi met us and explained a little about the history of the farm- if you want a real slice of life and history in Norway, this is the place to stay. There are moose in the garden and we saw the northern lights over the house. You are within a short drive to the Wilderness Centre and the best supermarket in Tromso. A log fire, incredible views, and beautiful grounds make this unmissable. Thank you - we will be back in the summer!

Lovely authentic country house with all you need for a wonderful stay. The owners are very kind and available. We really loved the atmosphere, the great communication and the quiet area at 20 min from Tromsø. When we arrived the house was warm and the fireplace made filling us at home.

Amazing property! Beautiful views, very quiet and spacious, everything you need is there, easy to find, like a personal snowy winter wonderland! Fireplace was lit when we arrived along with mysuc, very welcoming. Chalet has lots of family history! The hostess Silvi was lovely and very helpful! I'd strongly recommend staying there!

The location was very peaceful and the house was amazing. Everything was there to keep you well entertained even without WiFi and it was amazing. The house had binoculars and a radio. The bedroom was large and spacious, and the views were spectacular. The owner was so kind and lovely.

Comfortable property with plenty of character within 20 or so minutes from the airport. Very spacious downstairs with a cosy log burner. Private off street parking. Very friendly host willing to answer questions promptly.

This property is absolutely stunning! We met the host at the property, she was so welcoming and informative and treated us with the upmost kindness. The house is cozy and the decor is amazing. We loved the fire place and the surrounding area is awesome for exploring. The property was equipped with just about everything you could possibly need. We came to Tromso to see the Nothern Lights and we managed to see them on the last night staying here! The property is about 25 minutes drive from the township so there is very little light pollution - perfect for seeing the Aurora! If you are considering booking this property - do it! It will not let you down.

Beautifully renovated wooden house in stunning countryside by a lake traditionally furnished. Very cosy with everything you could need. Loved snuggling up by the log fire.
