“Amazing, peaceful, what we needed”

The property is quaint and peaceful, next to the sea. The view was amazing given you could just sit on the patio and look at the sea, or just go for a swim. Another advantage was that it was empty most of the time, and as we were with family, it was a blessing. The staff is always eager to help you. The food was delicious, specially sea food, the hotel staff arranged for fresh crabs as I requested them, and the dish was amazing.

Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable beach getaway. Highly recommended!

“A magical resort with beach front villas.”

The resort is literally right on your 'own' beach. That is the magic of the place. It is exceptionally quiet and a great place to relax and unwind. We stayed in early October 'low season' and it was total bliss! There were limited bookings and the restaurant was great. We often had breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and at an affordable price. The actual facilities are in need of some/or a lot of attention. It is only 13 years old and some elements need to be fixed. They did have excellent satellite TV with over 100+ stations to keep you amused if so be. The resort is somewhat remote but a 10 minute taxi ride gets you into Trincomalee. (Not that there is a lot to do there!)

“Amazing”

Amazing. The view from our room was next level over the sea. The beach is literally on your doorstep. The breakfast choices were all incredible but I would definitely recommend trying the Sri Lankan with Paratha. Whilst chilling by the pool we were offered fresh coconuts from the trees which was a great touch. You can eat either in the restaurant or at your room which was a great way to watch nightfall. The team were all lovely and very accommodating. Communication was mainly through WhatsApp which was very prompt but the team would also come round to check on us and see if we needed anything.

We enjoyed our stay at Pearl Oceanic Resort in Trincomalee. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location right by the beach is excellent. That said, there are a couple of areas that could really improve the experience. There were no beach chairs, umbrellas, or cabanas provided on the beach, which made it difficult to relax comfortably or find shade. Having these facilities would easily make this resort a 10/10. In addition, while it seemed like other guests received beach towels, we were not provided with any and had to use our bath towels at the beach. These were not replaced even when the room was cleaned once during our 4-night stay. Overall, a lovely place with great staff and a fantastic beachfront location, but with a few improvements it could be outstanding

Good beach in front (I only saw people from this accommodation to go to this beach). In the first day we were actually surprised to see that no one was there: if you like quiet/calm this is an idem gem. However, if you want to have people around this is definitely not the accommodation to book.

My room was to the beach so I enjoyed every minute of my stay whether indoors or outdoors. The beach is beautiful and quiet place for those who likes to enjoy the quiet lifestyle and not busy busy.....chef is great and staff are friendly. The manager is super efficient and friendly. I loved it...

“The perfect place”

We had a family vacation, we really liked the place and the people who work there, so we extended our stay. The location is incredibly beautiful, the service is top notch, the restaurant surprised us with delicious dishes every day. Clean, quiet, ideal for relaxation.

“Worth staying, peaceful and quiet”

This is the place where you can take a rest and enjoy your time at the sea. The private beach is just awesome, you can swim anytime you want. The whole area is just peaceful and quiet, and if you need more lively beach Uppuveli is just 10 min by tuk-tuk (Pick me app works quite well)
