This is a very unique and special property. If you get a chance to stay here, don't miss out. We liked absolutely everything about this property - host, location, building, beautifully appointed private rooms. Plus car parking very easy on the street close by.

The owners really made our stay. They were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was centrally located, spotlessly clean and we really couldn’t fault anything.

The house was beautiful, full of character and charming. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful giving us lots of history about the town and making a dinner reservation for us. I wish we could have stayed longer and explored the area but we were only there for one night. I hope we can return some day.

It was central, and parking was available next to it. The Hosts were very welcoming. The room was excellent. A very comfy bed & excellent shower! The whole property was beautifully decorated and there were communal areas to chill out and watch tv. Breakfast was great value and delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It has been superbly renovated in keeping with the history of the house, and has been furnished and decorated with lots of character and style. Our bedroom was large, warm and very comfortable, with a modern ensuite. We loved the fireplaces in the comfortable living and dining rooms. Patricia and Eamon are delightful hosts, very welcoming, with excellent local knowledge and ideas for exploring the beautiful town of Treignac and the surrounding country side. A delicious breakfast was served each day, including light as a feather Belgian waffles! Thank you both!

The wonderful fusion between the ancient house- and its sympathetic decor teeming with French Elegance - and the atmosphere of contemporary creativity, brought about by the fact that the house continues to be excitingly renovated. Pat and Eamon are super hosts: attentive, kind, welcoming and personable. Breakfasts were superb.

A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Pat was so helpful, giving us a choice of rooms due to the extreme heat, giving us recommendations on restaurants and making a reservation for us and advice on places to visit in the area including the beach on the nearby lake to cool down during the heatwave

A lovely authentic house in the middle of a beautiful old town. The hostess is very kind and welcoming and takes really good care of her guests. The rooms can be made really dark to garuantee a good sleep. The breakfast is very fresh and delicious. Combined with the charm of the little town and the stunning nature that is great for hiking, cycling and fishing there isn’t much more you can wish for!

The hostess Patricia was lovely and very helpful. Very clean and comfy bed. Charming / quirky property. I wish her well.

I was a bit annoyed as there was no one to meet us, but it turned out I'd somehow booked for the next night by mistake. They were most accommodating. The place is great and so are the owners. I fully recommend it. The town is really pretty too.

A very friendly welcome. The property has been magnificently brought back to life, yet keeping some of the medieval charm. A lovely, immaculate room, with lots of charm. A very filling, delicious breakfast.

Super warm welcome by both Pat and Touille. They have refurbished this ancient building to an excellent condition. When I arrived they couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was excellent too.

Just absolutely delightful in every way. The hosts were lovely and accommodating allowing us to use the fridge, gave us some information about where to go in the village. Breakfast was superb and my boyfriend loved being able to have an English cuppa in the morning having been away for a week. The building was beautifully restored and the bed very comfortable. This is definitely on my saved list to come back to as I'd love to see more of this idyllic area.
