Overview
Located in Treignac, Corrèze, Hôtel du Lac is just in front of the Bariousses Lake, where guests can fish or take a bath. It offers a garden and a bar. The location is excellent , we had stayed at this hotel in the past and it has been a great pleasure to revisit The balcony with view over the lake is fabulous. A warm welcome awaits you. The chef cooks delicious and copious food. The waiter is efficient and knowledgeable.

“A very pleasant spot for a stopover.”
The hotel is situated by the lake, with beautiful views over the water from the rooms. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The dinner menu was short but adequate, and the food was perfectly fine without being pretentious. Breakfast was very good value.

“Very nice hotel.”
Lovely location, we had balcony overlooking the lake, not all rooms have this option, spacious room, good size bathroom, even had a fridge in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was open for evening meals on the day we stayed, we had already eaten elsewhere as on booking.com it said there was no evening meal, so probably best to check with the hotel first. Free parking outside of hotel which is next to the main road but is ok.

Breakfast was good, a nice choice of items, typically continental. A great view over the lake.Dinner was great, a half roast chicken beautifully cooked, with a very good red wine.

“Great hotel and friendly staff”
location is excellent, right next to a beach with water sports. Dogs allowed at a very good rate. we had a room with a terrace overlooking the lake which was lovely. We ate in the restaurant and had a very good meal. breakfast was basic but very nice. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was basic but really clean as was the bathroom.

The location and the spectacular views! Evening meal (basic, but very acceptable) overlooking the lake. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend.
