Very nice hotel. Our room walked right out to the beach. We stayed in the Leelanau Suite. We had a livingroom area with a fireplace. Also had a whirlpool tub.

The room exactly like the pic on website! Very comfortable, the view, The View was outstanding!!! Gorgeous, the Canadian geese were a nice touch too! The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! Laid out beautifully! Laura, who ran the buffet was so pleasant, accommodating, great at her job! .

“Nothing beats Traverse City in the Fall”
This hotel has a beautiful view of the bay that you can view from your room patio or balcony. Just lovely. We loved that the hotel was able to accommodate our adjoining room request. We loved the balconies. The pool, hot tub, beach and breakfast were great. The in-room bar was good too. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms a good size and everyone could spread out. The hotel is easy to get to and was just outside Traverse. We were easily able to get in and out of town, the peninsula and out to Leelanau just fine. Highlights for us was dinner at Sleders Family Tavern - the teens got such a kick out of kissing the moose Randolf that they now have matching t-shirts (they all wore them to school on Monday), going to The Mission Table/Jolly Pumpkin, checking out where the ghost Jenny slept, went to the lighthouse, went on the PM Asylum Tour, boating on the bay & visited Powers (formerly Marion) island and 9 Bean Rows bakery (soooo good). It is so beautiful here this time of year. Sadly, we did not get to enjoy a bonfire on the beach due to our weekend activities, but that and paddleboarding (hotel offers) would have been fun!

The price I paid was less than similar hotels with no pools! The whole facility appears clean and staff were extra helpful and friendly!!!

“Perfect Place for the Perfect Getaway!”
We stayed at the Cherry Tree Inn & Suites last year, when we got married at Old Mission Point Lighthouse, and it was a delightful experience. We returned this year to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was (once again) a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, the amenities were great, the hot breakfast was yummy, and the view of the East Bay from our bedroom was spectacular! We look forward to returning again, and highly recommend this lovely place without hesitation!
